- In my RimWorld playthroughs I usually don't use a ton of exploits, but what if I allowed myself to use them all? Could we beat the game as blind nudists on the hardest difficulty without pausing? Welcome to The Cheese Run, a full, dairy-rich playthrough of RimWorld.
Full playthrough is played on Losing Is Fun set to +500% difficulty without pausing against Randy Random. No additional mods to help the exploiters were added. This run uses Fluid Ideology.
The super short runs I talk about during the run will also go up as a comilation later on. But this episode begins the long runs.

*No Pause - Adam is using a mod that disables pause in every portion of the game. This means it is impossible for him to pause with a key press and the game will not pause during events or trade, making things much more difficult.
** Losing is Fun set to +500% is the hardest difficulty in unmodded RimWorld

This starts off as a chill run but gets stupidly crazy. I generally don't use extreme exploits, but allowing myself to do everything gets silly really quick. The cheese really starts opening up in episode 2 (and Randy starts to super wake up). Also, this run was right when medical stuff got to its worst point. In the middle of this run I had to take TWO MONTHS off RimWorld due to specialist visits, hospital stays, and tons of trial medication. I think I picked the run(s) up fairly well after returning, but if you notice something off, especially between two episodes, that is why. :P

Good way to cheese melee is to imprison someone forever. Every time they prison break, you beat the crap out of them. Keep your other pawns on stand-by in case you lose, and always melee bare-handed.
Tagged "All Exploits" and "Cheese" then legit starts hardest difficulty and masochist level Ideo with hardest starting scenario! Lol So excited for this. I learn a ton from watching your videos.

It is a very neat concept to play standard games in ways that maximize exploiting it without cheat codes or mods. It speaks to a form of mastery I think.

Ps5 player here, for the first time I am playing on losing is fun, it’s so tough, I am on Randy as well. The toughest thing is their mood, eat with no table? Bang! Shout at everyone one and bring their mood down as well! I got 7 people, they spam 22 at a time in raids, still injured, they spam another wave, 2 guys down in the first month. So thanks for this video and all the other informative videos.

Randy loves to be peaceful with me too usually. Then when your trying to build your throne room, BAM, massive invasion after massive invasion.
Yeah, it does seem to go that way. In my 20 year run on this channel we had a 2 year period of basically no attacks, and then 7 max raid point raids in 2 days, lol. What a jerk.
On average you were asked about every 5 minutes about what happened to the previous run for at least the first 2 hours... Crazy how patient you are.
I go drop my prime whenever i remember, been watching on/off for about 3 years theres just so much to watch even if i only watch you in my whole week theres still too much 😆

Adam how do u get a pawn in brutal start with natural meditation type? I legit rerolled 200+ times and never found one.. Only tribal seems to have them constantly...
Best burger I have tried so far was in Slovakia's city Stary Smokovec next to Tatra mountain, burger with gorgonzola cheese and sweat pear. That was amazing.

I had a semi cheese in melee in which I permenantly held open my prison door accidentally and the wounded,but patched up prisoner as soon as he was able to walk tried to escape and was downed with a single punch brought back to the prison patched up and repeat until my medics became Godly after patching him up so much and half of my colony became martial artists just punching the poor prisoner again and again
Lol, always nice to get in some extra medical and melee experience :P

i noticed the door exploit 2 hours in, 1 adjacent door for room status, but a open diagonal door for pawn pathing allowing the main room to act as reliable killbox bait
Big thing I do is farm tortoises for shooting experience theyre slow and pretty low risk while taking plenty of shots. Super recommend doing that if you have them on your map.

Do you have modlist? I mean a full modlist with links to workshop elements? 'Cause I really wanna try the random plus ( which is not listed in the mod list) and it requires harmony, but with harmony the game does not display the starting menu.
turns out, that it is important to load the workshop elements in a certain order, not just in the game but in the workshop itself.
Good catch. I copy/pasted the mod list from a different playthrough and forgot to add that one. You can see the mod list on the initial loading screen (the timestamp where the ru begins then just hit left arrow once). I will update the list later as well, but there isn't much at all.
A missed opportunity to get the "pepper jack hammer".
Does consuming rawfood with poison chance work per item or per serving.
What iam asking is, is the chance when eating 10 eaten berries at once the same as eating 1 berrie (2%) or does it stack up to 20% (2%x10). Noticed a serving is around 7-8 when playing meaning 14-16%which wouldn't be low at all considering tribals are 5 pawns start 15%x5=75% chance of atleast one getting poisoned
Chance is still the same, doesnt matter if they eat one berry or ten.

I don't know if you consider this cheese or if you already know this, but you can kinda cheese melee by beating up prisoners. Imprison a raider that has a shield and give your pawn shield as well. Gets you to level 20 really quickly.
Shield doesn't work on melee
@@skankhunt42_0 I was talking about melee shields. I forgot they come from CE because I haven't played without it for such a long time. But beating up prisoners also works without a shield, you just need like 2 prisoners instead of 1.
No shields in base game. Can still melee prisoner in general for xp, but if I was going to mod an item in for melee experience I might as well just mod in one of the training dummy mods or such :P

Is there a mod that fixed diagonal wall gap exploit?
Suggestion: Pawns would be able to see and shoot each other diagonally through diagonal wall gap, but they are still too tight to go through (impassible).
Visible range angle will be small as to avoid people using diagonal walls for killboxes.

yeah, "god pawn" has some variety, because sure... a late game pimped out archotech limb'd super soldier on luci is a "god pawn" but that is different from a "god pawn" in terms of who you want to recruit instantly
I tend to agree with your vision of it, although I would add 2 A+ tier traits and a solid third if possible, plus useful skills and passions for the colony, your 15th good doctor is a lot less useful then your first or second, so "god pawn" becomes more scarce later in the game
How did the last run end?
I changed my mind. I think the cheese run *is* for me. I just don't like slow Randy-starts. OK, I'm on board and happy about all the catching up I can do!

Hey Adam, I was wonderin if you played a Planetkiller Scenario before? As an idea for a new Rimworld series. The race against time could be very interesting, if you challenge yourself properly. :)
I have not yet, but I've talked about it a bunch of times. I may add it to a future playthrough.

For the prisoners who aren't prisoners? When I tried they wouldn't eat from the dispenser without a prisoner bed in the same room. Instead they ate crap out of the hoppers lol.

I used to. Then I'd see someone carrying some glitterworld over to the bruised prisoners or something and suddenly remember, lol.
Randy gets all his bad RNG out of the way with your first 2 attempts that die in 5 minutes to 8 negative events.
pepper jack is nice in the right context but... your favorite cheese? of all the cheeses??? better than fleur de maquis, saint-nectaire, neufchâtel, cazelle du saint afrique, dorothea, or halloumi? better than beaufort chalet d'alpage or epoisses très affiné???

I struggled with the Avoid F.F mod so much i just turned it off, lol. Its very inconvenient when you're fighting with more than one pawn in the field. Though it would shine more in raids and stuff I guess
i tried the ""put a non-sowing grow zone over ambrosia so pawns will harvest it" a couple of days ago and it didn't work. i am on xbox so maybe they patched that for the port.
Maybe. It definitely still works on PC.
@@AdamVsEverything i checked the logs and it turns out a pawn binged it all while it was still waiting to be hauled into storage, lol. can't be too mad, the guy had just lost a lung in a raid. i LOVE this game. there are some features missing from the port and the max tile size you can have is 225 which sucks because 250 or 275 would be Goldilocks for me. unluckily for the pawn i don't seem to see any artificial respiratory organs in the tech tree, maybe i'll keep a lookout for a downed raider with a fresh natural one.
yeah the prostitute idol is a backer character, one of my favorites for "very wholesome" reasons
