Because the brachiosaurus was never a real creature and brontosaurus was the right term, the skeleton of the brachio was mistaken for some other species, look it up
UglyBeast you’ve got it mixed around, dude. Brontosaurus was the one that was a mishmash of different species and originally had a Camarasaurus skull on its mount. Brachiosaurus is depicted how it is because it was originally thought that there was a second species in Africa that’s been renamed to Giraffatitan because we found more proper specimens in North America showing the two were actually different enough to be separate genera.

The brachiosaur isnt even in the vanilla game and it has better physics than the titan. The slow motion of the brachio standing up and dropping down also slowly makes you realy feel the weight and size of the creature, unlike with the titan.

@@jtno2 you’re heavily underestimating just how hard it is to program and code if you think that’s a easily do-able feat, especially for a game like Ark which isn’t in a fighting-focused genre
@@siamwse Bushido Blade(1997) had specific limb damage, Die By The Sword(1998) let you hack off specific limbs and chunks of body parts. Soldier of Fortune(2000) had body dismemberment. Half-Life 2(2004) had realistic physics and that was almost 20 years ago! I don't think it's a matter of if they're capable of designing a more realistic combat system but more a matter of if they want to spend the time and resources to. Never said it was easy but it's definitely doable.
