As a saxophonist Jan played with Thijs van Leer, Hans Dulfer and plays on the CD of the ex-keyboardist of the world famous band 'the Who'. He also produced his own CD with his band whom played with TOTO and Snowy White for example. Also Jan did the opening act with this band for the American top-fusion act "the Yellow Jackets" Jan van Oort
