First time I've ever cried of happiness in a game. That last scene where you liberate the town and see the allied air force above with the planes swooping towards you seriously got me teary-eyed. I suddenly felt all the anxiety wash away like i had actually traveled back in time and felt all the emotions of the locals that the Nazis were gone
Love that Saving Private Ryan reference while sniping. Absolutely amazing
D is literally using one clip/magazine per enemy. Glad for him there are so many ammo laying around haha

Can’t remember, but they kinda did a estimate count of ammo per kill.
I enjoy how when the P-51s came in i was all "Oi, ye foks, what are you doing at low altitude during escort?! Climb you buggermuggers!"
And my pa told me i shouldn't be an Air Marshal.

You do realize you can extend your gaming library by using oculus link right? Steam, Oculus, and Quest Library all playable on quest, it depends on how good your pc is.

@@SoggyMicrowaveNugget lmao what are you talking about, this is by Respawn, the ones behind the undisputed GOAT FPS Titanfall. Literally the only major issue with this game at launch was the 180gb file size, not some widespread plenty and common bugs like Cyberpunk which made it look like it was developed by a bunch of amateurs

At launch, the scopes system was awful, there was no smooth turning, you needed a high end system and yet the game still would chug, your very arms could get in the way of your aim., and many other issues. And while I love the game, the early campaign is very sluggish since its basically cut scenes and tutorials. It isn't until the 3rd section of Mission 1 (which every mission has 3 sections and each section has 3 parts which combined with the Prologue means you're looking at 13 or so parts before you get a real mission).

And to the credit of Respawn and their active interactions with the Oculus subreddit, they pumped out 3 updates in 3 weeks back to back to back and even included community suggestions like louder Garand pings. I mean I do get the criticism of the turtle slow first missions, I'm sure they're meant to ease new VR players in instead of letting them jump straight into action with maximum nausea. Unfortunately nearly all the reviews judged the entire game based on those "tutorial" 5 minute snippet levels. It gets absolutely epic afterwards, just a shame most people was put off by those initial reviews

Yeah. I hate how the initial launch poisoned the well. It really is one of the best Single player experiences in VR when it comes to an actual campaign with gunplay. And unlike Alyx, you have the expected variety of weapons instead of being reduced to just a pistol, a one handed SMG, a one handed shotgun, and 2 grenades that more or less act the same.

For reference, Medal of Honor: European Assault has a PVP map that looks quite like that Cathedral, and you can randomly hear a duck quacking here and there while playing in it.

Btw, there was an update recently that allows you to set the sniper scope to realistic so that the image appears in the scope and doesn't take up your entire vision. This was probably filmed before that update, but just so you know you have to change this setting manually in the options menu.
I'm just glad that they decided to update it to the players demand, pop one still has the fill your screen sniper scope
I tried it but with the default aim it records a lot clearer when scoping in

Yesterday I have take a first look on my Valve Index in the Box.😱🤩 Im very excited too use her at Christmas evening here in Germany. I had after a longer time again my PSVR headset on, and it was a huge difference (resolution and field of view) ,after using her again after I had used all the time my htc vive.

Only issue I had with this game is the fact it doesn’t work to well on index as controllers are too sophisticated for the game controls ie sensors always activating when you don’t want them too
You can adjust the sensitivity of the grab sensors on a game by game basis. It'd be nice if the deveopers did it, but its nice that you don't have to suffer from bad sensor settings if you don't want to.

This seems like a completely different game from everything before Omaha Beach. Why didnt Respawn open the game with Omaha and this?!
EDIT: JK, the whole gang got back together...........
They fell for the same issue as Half-Life Alyx where the early game is overly basic to ease players new to VR in. But unlike Alyx which breaks ups large sections with large loading screens, this game breaks up much smaller sections even if the areas are more varied than Alyx.

At the end, they ran out of grown soldiers, so they took boys over 14 years old, trained them briefly and sent them to the front, where they would die eventually. None of them deserved that, don´t you think?
