The overskirt was drop dead gorgeous. Your mothers day breakfast on the patio vignette inspires me to scrub and paint my patio and old outdoor furniture.
Thank you 💕💕 yes get that furniture ready to use. It feels so special to eat on the patio every single time. I do it almost weekly.
As a sewist of 60 years, I have to say you're vlogs are so easy to watch. I have watched many others and none are as neat and professional as you. They make the process seem so messy and difficult. I am a devoted fan.
The 1950's pajamas are another beautiful SewRena creation! I am always impressed by the vision and color combinations that are used to create one of a kind outfits. The underskirt was a stroke of genius to bring yet another look to an already stunning dress! Looking forward to the next creation~🧵😍
50's pajamas are always so super cute.
They really are!!! I’m so excited to make more
Sewrena you have my vote for any creation you make. I only wish I had your sewing skill. Being
76 yrs old many of the clothes you make, I am very familiar with. The PJs were what I wore as
a little girl in the mid-late 50s.
SUPER CUTE pajama set! Looks very comfortable, well done.
Thank you
Love these! I don’t think I’d be brave enough to rock a vintage outfit but I would 100% wear these pjs all the time! Mint is a great color on you!
Thank you I actually plan on wearing it a lot on the patio so the bugs don’t get me too bad at night
That is the best vintage pajamas I've ever seen, adorable 😍
Adore this little vintage set you put together, trims really do make all the difference 🫶🏼 & I have a seersucker skirt, I can never get enough of. That material is perfect for summer heat. 🌞
So cute!! Great job!!
Currently whip stitching my waistband to a linen stanwyck circle skirt
This is too adorable...
Adorable! I’m currently adjusting a play suit pattern and muslin so that I have my perfect fit for my proportions and have a final pattern that I can reuse over and over. 😊
As I'm recovering from open heart surgery, I bing watching your videos. Your voice is so soothing. All your Summer outfits are so cute and I appreciate the amount of details you put into them is very inspiring. I've a bit of a road to complete recovery. But, your videos are helping me to feel better and getting back to sewing😊
Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talents with us all.
have say all the summery outfits are sooo cute. I truly appreciate what you do and for sharing all the little details.
I am so glad my videos can accompany you during your recovery 💕🥰 it’s such an honor. I hope you continue to recover well you will be on my thoughts 🫶🏾 sending lots of love.
So. 1. Yes
How did you know I wanted to make a vintage sleep gown this weekend!
I love the color palette. So refreshing. I love a French Seam.
Really good tip about the bias tape. The PJ’s are adorable!
I might need to dig through my patterns and see if I have a vintage pattern pj set.
That is just the cutest, I love it! ❤❤❤
You are such an amazing seamstress! I love watching you put different patterns together to make such lovely outfits!! Fantastic. You are so blessed and talented.
Thank you so much 🥰
This a fun set of pajamas. I really like the fabric and trim choices, and how flattering the silhouette is. Just breezy and cool.
I love the pajama set, you did a great job.
So sweet! The silhouette works really well for you.
Idk how i found ur channel but I ADORE YOU 😊
I love the set it looks so comfortable and cool ❤
LOVE THESE PJS!! Memories are running strong! Growing up our home did NOT have air conditioning…Mom would make my sister and I cool pjs like this or baby dolls - always in seersucker or gingham. We would have roasted in the flannel nightgowns she made us for winter. This set you made is perfection and I think I need to create a similar pair…I just realized how much I need those in my life! 😂 Thank you for your channel - I just love your style and you are so talented ♥
Re: The pants. I love how you refer to that pattern as a “Brunch Set” because it has a little more ease in the waist. Apparently, all of MY clothes are also Brunch Sets, ha ha ha!
Beautiful job as always, SewRena!
I don't think I'd have even noticed that you used different trim on the trousers if you hadn't pointed it out. It's a cute result regardless. I'm currenly up against a time-crunch, trying to make an 18th Century style long waistcoat and knee-britches to wear to a convention next weekend.
Ohhh that sounds fun!! I hope you get it all done in time. Are you doing anything by hand or all machine?
I was so annoyed about the trim I seriously considered ordering a similar trim in white and try to paint the flowers myself by hand but I’m not that artistic.
@@SewRena Thanks! Due to the time crunch It's as much by machine as possible, only handwork where the machine stitching would be too obvious. Plus, I've had to "cheat" to cut down on the layers because I overheat very easily , so the waistcoat is backless (won't be seen). I have a gazillion cover buttons to do and the buttonholes to go with them - thank goodness my Janome machine is better at buttonholes than I am.
So cute pajamas outfit and hair style is cute too thanks for sharing 😊👍🏾
It‘s so cute. 🥰 Great job.
Very cute pajamas. I think i might have just made the top knee length, a little fuller over the hips, and dispensed with the pants altogether.
Our Sewing with Nancy. Beautiful ❤️
Aww, so sweet! #RIHNancy
Really cute! Good job!
I love your pajamas!! I love everything you make 💖🥰🎶👗💕
Oooofff. That beep for the subscribe notification was sooo loud. I was watching the video closely and suddenly I got blasted and it frightened me. I understand wanting to draw attention to it but maybe you can use a different sound effect like a little dinner bell ringing or a door bell. I loved this video and what you were making. Thanks for sharing your talents & inspiration. ❤
Sorry
@@SewRena it’s okay! It just surprised me. 😂❤️
I don’t sew but I absolutely adore your videos ❤
Thank you for being here I’m so glad you like my videos 💕

I'm in awe of your sewing ability. I can't sew a stitch. I love these pajamas. One of my favorites you have made. I'd buy them in a minute. So enjoy your channel. God bless.

Very cute
Adorable pj’s!!!
Thank you so much
That is so cute!!!
So nice.
Super cute 😊
WOULD youy consider like once in a while show how a plus size pattern/garment could be adapted in vintage fashion? I know that you are petite, but if you had a sponsor, or similar would you consider it?
As much as I would love to accommodate everyone I think it would be best to highlight a plus-size sewist. I would be much more comfortable doing a Collab with a plus-size vintage maker I actually have one in the works already.
@KCG what do you mean by adapted? Are you wanting to see what vintage clothes look like on a plus size person? Or are you asking her to show how to grade up a smaller pattern?
Like adding vintage touches to a modern pattern?
Obsessed!!!
Adorable!
love your content!
Im gonna have to make a pj set after this video, so cute !!! ❤❤❤ ive been working on some alterations and a few makes for my holiday to france in a few days everyone always has last minute alterations they need 😢😢😂😂
Super cute
Too cute!
Ooooeee!!! Cutest of dee cute sleep set! PJ’s for summer are on my to-do list right now because TX is stupid hot and all these fabulous fluffy vintage nylon baby dolls I have are sweat city! (My 4 mannequins are currently enjoying them). I want to make ruffly bloomers with some sort of loose top-thank you for the inspiration as always! Sweet dreams!!! 😴
Did you make your nylon sets? If so where did you get the fabric?
@@SewRena they’re vintage nylon ones. I used to collect them--they’re dreamy cute but completely impractical for sleeping in!
I love seersucker 😊
Super cute❤
Where'd you get your jello mold weights?! So cute!
I made them
Glad you mentioned them. I thought they were pineapple upside down cakes. A dessert that was popular around the 50’s and 60’s but early printings of the recipe have been found dated to 1924.
Could you do vintage swimsuits?
Absolutely love your content 👍🏽
Cute!! 😍
Cute ❤
