This video lists the Highest Rated Players who are over the age of 33 and will retire in the first few seasons of FIFA19 Career Mode, paving the way for their Regen to become the next FIFA 19 Superstar.

If you customise a league will the regens appear in the new league or old one, example - if I move PSG to the EPL will Buffon regen in EPL or League one?

Just asking, regens potential is based on the player prime overall or their final overall ?
Like for example, Van Persie is retiring at Overall 78, so his regen highest potential can only be 78 ?
Edwin Kah Lun I think there can be a bit of change. I’d say Van Persie’s regen would have potential of between 76-80.
Or it could have been from the fact every time a player moves club their potential can change a bit (up or down). So after buying them you be lucky or not.
@Isaagain Extra ¦ Their regen's potential would be near whatever the player's potential is at the start of the career, (same as OVR for old players) So for Ibra ~85 and tevez ~77
No it depends on the prime player potential if’s it 90 then the regen will be like 90 or higher

REGENS will achieve the same potential as the retired player was in their prime.

Pick them both and see who has the higher weak foot and skill ratings. Scout them and see who's overall is higher.

can someone explain how the regen system work and how to get them ?
I'm no expert, but from what I gather - when a player retires he will be regenerated back into the game. They're always found within the league they were in when they retired. So for example, if Ronaldo moved to and retired at Manchester City in your save, you'd search for his regen the following season in the English Premier League. The regen will also always be of the same nationality and play the same position.
So for this example you'd search for a young Portuguese striker in the Premier league. If more than one show, you should be able to easily identify which one is the regen.
So to recap - keep an eye out for players who are retiring at the end of the season, then the following season search their position nationality and previous league.

When they retire at the end of a season, they are immediately regenerated at the beginning of the following season.

What is the point of this? e.g. if Van Persie is only 78OVR when he retires then if you purchase his regen you are essentially purchasing a below average player that has the potential to be 78. There are loads of young prospects far better than the regens of players that are over the hill? Or am I missing something eg. can Van Persie regen reach 89 like prime Van Persie in FIFA 14?
Agreed. The REGENS Potential will not be too high. However they usually have pretty good attributes from the get go.
Making them a cheap option.
James Barker i think RVP is a bad example. I got Zlatans like last fifa and when he was 18 he was 85 and multiple 99 stats. Tbh it’s the only way to get those youth players at ST. I send all 3 out for attackers and NEVER get a ST

The Regen will have the same Potential as the Retired Player had before he declined.

@@FCGems also a tip maybe for a next vid, If you send a scout to Chile to find goalkeepers you get quality shit. I have 17 year old chile keeper with an overal of 78 and 89-94 pot. Plus I've got other chile keepers but eventually released them in order to focus on that guy
