That is true range. same test is needed for punch. In normal course a person will drive with AC and 80-100 speed
Yes Pankaj, exactly that i why we have tested in true conditions for a normal driver
Punch LR uses the same Motor but is limited to 90wh instead of 106wh. So in the real world it has to be similar in range. (The previous punch range test vehicle seems to be not calibrated, please test with a different vehicle which has completed 2000kms and has updated) firmware
that was calibrated and had given a range of around 280-300 kms on a 100% charging with 3 people,

This range may vary on access controlled expressway where car can cruise 100kmps without any interrupt.
I tried the same with Nexon max ev on yamuna expressway + agra lucknow expressway and consumption was around 143 wh/km.
There might be slight improvement in Nexon 3.0 as its more aero dynamic when compared with 2.0.

Advice to Charge the vehicle overnight and start your journey with a 100% charged battery. Use 80% energy. Keep the remaining 20% energy reserve.
On long distance journeys Charge up to 95% from a public fast charger. Use 80% energy. Keep 15% energy reserve.
Based on the practical average range of Nexon Ev cars, the long range car will require to be recharged after 250 km, and the mid range car after 160 km. This will keep the battery healthy and your journey tension free.
Tata EV cars have excellent performance.

throughout time when this car was with me I drove it for more than 500 kms apart from shoot, I observed a minimum of 92kw energy consumption when I was driving it in the city on a decent speed with regen 3 and city mode

I believe there wouldn't be much difference if you drive an EV with 90-100 kmph or with 60-70 kmph. In fact if you drive with more speed it helps with Ac cooling and inertia (coasting downhill)... Anyways, this is the real range of an EV! Once on highway it makes little sense to drive the EV with 60-70 kmph! At least it should be 80-85 kmph, and that is the speed limit for most highways and is a safe speed anyways!

Just as an update i received my new Nexon Ev empowered + variant. Thanks for your informative videos.
My recent observations :
1) The logo has been slightly made inline to the newer Punch.EV.
2) The wiper issue has been slightly addressed as mine is slightly away from bonet area to avoid the touching each time
3) The voice of the person in vehicle (notifications) can be reduced to minimum but that also affects the voice of android auto and apple carplay commands (siri & ok google)
4) Fit and finish definitely could have been improved.
5) Horn pressing is a slight getting used to and is not the most user friendly. So is the steering (i am coming from a Hyundai)
6) Seating and driving is just effortless.
7) A/C cooling does not immediately start up quick takes almost a minute during day time and hot hours.
8) Having issues in logging in to the arcade ev despite registration.
(Please help if you can)

Music system, drls , lights have minimal effect on battery.
Ac also little more than minimal but heater takes a bit of charge .

Why didn't you charge 100%. You should charge full so that result may get accurate and we don't have to assume the figures.
First of all whenever you charge it requires more time because 90-100 takes more time to charge, and it was not our requirement to charge it to 100%. becuase we didn,t want to waste our time and we want to start our video

First of all Pankaj I don’t own this car so I cannot login into the app, secondly the screenshots and other figures I shown in this video is I think is more than enough to prove what i am saying.
Everyone discusses what the maximum range could be? Someone should also talk about if someone forgets everything (best driving practices) and drives like a regular petrol car, then what will be the minimum range? In my opinion, this would be the right approach to save customer money by providing the customer with the right information.

Sir, I just bought a new nexon. Ev LR top model but didn't get range any tips to improve range I am getting 240-260 on full battery my daily running 220km per day and this range is without AC on kindly share some tips thanks in advance
Try to keep the wh/hr consumption below 120 .
Light pedal to level 1 or 2 is enough.
Yes correct as low as the wh/hr consumption is , the more range you will get
The mistake I was doing
On red lights or starting after stoppages i tend to press the paddle harder and get the pickup which increases the wh/km
I was getting around 200km but now240- 250 MRL

This is the most bugged car in the world. Half of the sensors have failed within 3 weeks of my purchase. Tata have no support team who understands this tech.

bro why did you put so much changes in a single test ride, like speed more and less, city and highway or driver change or ac on and ac off... by doing this you are making viewer confusing... just a suggestions as a viewer.. why dont you make a single video riding on same speed and on single mode... like riding between 70-80 on eco mode then 70-80 on eco mode with AC. then 80-90 on sports mode then may be 80-90 on sports with AC. let it be 4-5 videos.... this way user will get clear idea ki bhai yeh car ko main agar 70-80 non ac chalaun eco mode main to sabse jyada mileage degi... i know other factors will add on like weight... but aap hamesha 2 to hote he ho.
bro do you think you can drive 240+ km on a single speed i dont tihnk soi so what we have done is keeping a daily driver in mind wherehe will drive in city and on highways with sometimes on 80-100 speed and sometimes on say 50-60 speed also our AC was ON all the time, we never make it off I think you haven't seen our video closely its a request to watch complete video and understand what we want to convey during our video, instead of just commenting which actually doesn't make sense and is of no use for a daily driver or a normal driver
