Thanks for watching everyone! Means a lot to us that you've watched our videos! The one and only HelLST has taken a beating and is gonna need a check up. Suspension fluids are 40 front 50 rear with stock springs. I'll be changing rear setup as it hasn't been landing as smooth as it should. (Also could just need a refill). Nitro slash is broken in after engine EXPLOSION. 100 bucks later its finally back to normal. Ran it very rich and you'll see more RPMs on next video!

You really should get a tuned pipe for the slash. It will have some more power outa it! THS is the best but they are sadly going out of business.

the front bearing doesn't really seal anything it just keeps dirt out. thebug404 has a video about that
Yeah i figured as i replaced it and two stage was still there. My tank is bad thats whats wrong. Gets super lean when i open it up.

I’m liking your vids there very entertaining. Do you have any advice for the LST I’ve got a bit of a tight front ring and pinion gear it feels a little tighter than the rear i was wondering if i could remove the shim that’s on the ring gear side and put it on the opposite side to reduce the friction any advice would be great
Currently I have one shim on each side of the differential and one shim on the outside of the pinion gear. I wouldn’t mess with the outside shims and if you have a shim that’s directly behind the pinion gears I would move it behind the bearings and close to outside of the housing so the shim would pull the pinion gear away from ring gear. The closer the pinion gear to the ring gear the tighter the mesh. You could to have loader mesh with no shim but your also risking play in the pinion gear.
@@haywirerc yeah only had it a week and i now know this truck basically inside out will have to take another look it’s a low mileage truck it’s not seen much action because it’s been in storage for many years it might just be the grease has dried up on the front the rear feels fine thanks bro.
@@David-069just a note have the breaks been modified in any way. The former owner modded the breaks on mine and I kept break mod until I broke some teeth of the pinion gear. Before it was about to break I could feel the mess was off. With low use I’m sure there’s nothing wrong but that was the only problem I’ve had.
@@haywirerc as far as i know the brakes are stock twin disk’s and four pads they all look like stainless steel just metal on metal no fancy two speed on mine unfortunately Ha ha. I appreciate your advice thanks 👍🏻
