It’s always sad when a couple breaks up. They seemed really good together.
He went to my high school 3 years behind. He’s just down to earth and I’ll always remember when he got married he included his HS friends AND favorite teachers. That’s super class! Obviously gab of our school district…I truly wish them both well.
I'm so upset to hear this news, it seemed like they were so in love and happy together. I wish instead of a divorce, they would go to couples therapy and work on what's going on, instead of giving up so easily. I hope whatever happens, they can still be friends, it doesn't have to be a messy divorce.

I'm sorry it didn't work out for this kind couple, but I can't say that I'm entirely surprised. They seemed to be "that hot couple who's also likeable", just not like the couple whose divorce I "never would have seen coming" (like some users have written in reaction to the news). They were two glamorous, hard-working individuals, who seemed to have such butterflies at this point in their lives that they got engaged within a year, without even living together (which I personally don't consider to be that long, especially when you're working and travelling a lot). Obviously, none of us know these people in person; it's just an impression (and neither do the media that are pretending to share the true reasons behind their split, etc.). We can only wish both of them all the best for their new, separated lives.

I think people mean perfect for eachtoher, and that's possible. Some rare couples just fit really well together.
@@dawnjohnson9726 I know what you mean but people fail to realize that there is no such thing as perfect. Maybe suitable and compatible are what they mean, but even if so, you have to adjust and learn as you go since you change and they change. You either grow together or grow apart.

Sad, but unfortunately life and expectations can get in the way of love at times. You grow apart and you can't find that spark again that brought you together in the first place. Marriage is a fast, curvey, deep lows, extreme highs, out of control rollercoaster that occasionally breaks down and needs to repaired. If you're unwilling to repair it, it will eventually break down and become useless.

I'm not surprised. I remember reading somewhere a long time ago he wanted kids and she had her one and done. That in itself would cause issues. Especially since he is getting older. Idk I always thought they were oddly matched and some can be the perfect match for each other in that situation and then there's some when the differences are so large it's too hard to overcome. I kinda viewed them as the latter. I hope they both find happiness whatever it may be.

You didn’t mention what your husband loves that you like. Anyway, there is nothing wrong with not sharing all the same interests. And you don’t know what other interests they shared just because she highlights his Steelers’ fanaticism. You have no idea how different they are based on one interest he has that she doesn’t share.

Less than ideal.. but when he met her, she was breaking up with her ex, who wanted custody of their fertilized embryos to implant in someone else and wanted them destroyed. She has a 31 year old son.
