Much appreciated!
This gives me confidence. I have bought the kit, but was apprehensive about using it. Thanks to your excellent video, I'm feeling 🎉
Thanks for this very useful upload - some very slight wear to my steering wheel, thinking about giving this a go!
Not long just finished mine on my Audi, Great product with plenty left for more steering wheels
What's it like a year later?
Great video. I’ve just bought the kit. What did my head in though in this video was that flashing bloody light on the dash. 🤣🤣
Update on mine. After a month it does start to wear off.
Great, thorough and very useful review. No faffin about. Wonderful. Thanks!
That’s awesome thank you for sharing!! I’m buying this kit!!
Glad it helped
Great video! Thank you
Great vid!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Great job!
Great video and thanks for sharing - I have a Porsche boxster and this could save me a few hundred for a new steering wheel - thanks again!
Thanks. Glad it helped. Definitely worth trying first..
I feel you. I have a 986 and wanted initially to get a new steering wheel and gear knob as mine were pretty worn. I saw the prices for new ones, threw up,. Second hand were half the price but about the same condition as I had. Got this kit and it worked a treat on both the wheel and gear knob for 20 quid. Win win
It was much easier to apply once the steering wheel was removed, I am curios to see how long it will hold up. Time will tell.
Thanks for the video!
Any ideas if this would work on a perforated steering wheel?
I just used this kit on a 2011 E class. It looks good but I think I should have let the binder dry longer/fully between each coat. I also used too much I think. I also used too much of the dye. It became a little rough feeling, but It looks great. I’ll do my Range Rover next and will allow at least 15 minutes between each coat of the binder and also apply the color more sparingly like in this video.
I do wish I watched this before I did mine. It was more helpful than the actual product video.
Glad the video helped.
@@anythingreviewed no, thank you
anyone get a rough finish on the steering wheel after they finish ? any way to get a smooth leather like feel back ?
Will this work on the column?
Oh dude, you should have defo put a side by side of the before and after at the end!!
I've just bought this for my 2017 Sportage that I've just bought. The only things that let the interior down from looking like new is the steering wheel wear and gear knob wear. I'm assuming i can use it on the gearstick also>
Great video though. Thanks!
Did you try it?
Goed uitleg!
anyone know a good filler to use to fill in the cracks ?
hi! nice review, how it goes after a month?
Yes it was fine. This was actually filmed over a year ago and the van has long gone, but yes it held up well and was no noticeable difference to the original colouring.
Nice to know! Thank you for your feedback.
I'd love to know how long it lasts 🤔 can't imagine it's going to last long and is more of a dealer cover up for sale
Considering your grabbing it all the time, specially in the summer it will surely fade
Thanks. Handy review. Just bought the kit, so pleased to see result in advance. I’d say the binder looks suspiciously like watered down pva glue to me!
Works in grey leather or only black?
You need to buy the kit with the correct coloured dye for your leather. I'd done a grey steering wheel in this video czcams.com/video/hsp7efzWCQY/video.htmlsi=mrYdUk8v-ME6hse6
How's it held up after 6 months?
I used this kit about 18 months ago on a 18 year old BMW e46 steering wheel. Still looking good.
I tried the exact product. Unfortunately it does not last long
How long is that?
'promosm' 🤣
