raigeki? not fair!! in my entire childhood i bought metal raiders and legend of blue eyes every 2 weeks and never did i pull a raigeki arghh!
i was mostly talking about the 2 first booster packs(the ones you consider useless), unless you are talking about the first half of yugioh cards, where powerful cards like gemini elf, archfiend soldier and vorse raider exist where one would be exited to get through buying a pack

i like how even if you don't get the greatest cards, you can still find a way to make it into a positive thing.

I love the attitude you have towards getting cards. You're never disappointed, unlike most Yu-Gi-Oh players on CZcams. That's how I am, I'm happy with pretty much everything I get.

Why do I find these entertaining?
I remember when Blue eyes White Dragon and Dark Magician was the most powerful cards back in the day.
Then find a way to slow the pace down a bit. I run Bubble Blade which has the OTK potential w/ Blade Armor Ninjas, but can also just slow the game down and out-attrition them.

That first Dark Magician Card is the coolest out of all cards!!!
I have a store in a local mall. They still kept these from years back. They go for 10$ each.... And 250$ for a box. they are all 1st edition. Its crazy how old it it...
If we are talking about the first 2 Booster packs then,
Summoned Skull, 2500 atk and 1 tribute (better than Dark Magician as he needs 2)
Now that Yu-Gi-Oh has evolved:
Fusiler Dragon & Skill drain, 3000 atk no tributes (better than Summoned Skull)
You have to use a steam iron but don't put it up too high because if you do, it could mess up the design on it.

Go for the Six Samurai Structure deck. Not 100% win, but it has everything that people usually have to search for all in one box. plus the win rate is still about 87%.

Hey simplyunlucky today i bought my first Yu-Gi-Oh booster pack in about 6 years, i got an Order of chaos pack and i pulled an ultimate rare Inzektor Giga-Mantis, Heart of the cards :) nice pulls :)
Well when you remember that cards like: Gemini Elf, Archfiend Soldier, and Vorse Raider (all level 4 with 1900 atk)

yeah but sometimes some of these weak cards can be used in new decks, like that one that focuses on having level 1 monsters on the field and triangle power. and well back then when the only pack that existed was LOB, steel orge grotto was the not a bad card, it had good balanced stats for its day

Not so unlucky in this opening! I would have been happy with the Dark Magician and Raigeki from the packs!
raigeki used to be the dogs bollocks back in the day when i played yu-gi-oh forbbiden memories.
I've never ever played Yu-Gi-Oh, nor have I ever had a card, but still i have been watching these unpacking video's for the past 2 hours now...this is wierd.
my first 2 holo's were harpy lady sisters. kuriboh and b.skull dragon. aside from my starter deck kiaba and yugi. was the start of my life :)
Nice pulls. as soon as i get a job i intend to start buying a bunch of the old cards. just for collection purposes. after i get some new speed cubes of course but still. i might hit you up if you got something im looking for.
Funny thing you got a Kazejin. That was my first rare card when I opened my first booster pack at nine years old.
Metal Raiders and Invasion of Chaos are my favorite packs ever.

there some awesome cards u can battle or collect its also a investment so later in the future u can resale after u enjoy them

i opened a metal raiders from a legendary collection and got 1 harpie lady. 1 elegant egotist and the harpie lady sisters in 1 pack

My first yughio card was a ghost rare power tool dragon (had the one equip card for it in same booster pack)
Back when i collected, i bought one of these and got a gate guardian in the metal raiders
Not to mention Achacha. Even Google doesn't know what that is.

i remeber someone got mad on here about the new yugiohs cause he didn't think wind ups where in eygpt funny thing is there was a trex with a gatling gun in the second pack.

I just got a mess up. I opened up a Joey deluxe, and I got 2 sets of exodus, all 3 Egyptian god cards, and the rest secret rare! Ohh shit!
back then, when just the first packs existed, the average attk of cards was around 1500, saggi was actually good for defense and the art was interesting looking. cards like change of heart, raigeki, pot of greed stupid? so powerful they are banned, we still use the old cards like dark hole, solemn judgement, mirror force, heavy storm. The creation of cards with 1800-2000 attk on 4 level monsters really made these packs look useless. comparing a normal mons to a good eff mons?

Just get regular packs to start with, then amke a deck out of them or decks.

What's up with the old cards like Three-Legged Zombie, Doma the Angel of Silence and Saggi the Dark Clown.
They were worthless cards and were stupid.
No one ever spent money on a card pack and said,
"YES, FERAL IMP THIS IS THE BEST CARD EVER!"
