I somehow feel connected to this song, the haunting reverberations like an empty room filled with echoes of times past, the lyrics that describe people waking up from petty arguments that really hold no weight in their lives, coupled with the sweet sounds of the front of this songs score. The entire song to me feels like someone realizing what they've lost and can never get back after meaningless arguments or disagreements. I have fallen in love with this song.

I keep coming back to this song. I think it's incredibly underrated, and this is from a guy who doesn't really like most of Tristam's tracks. The chord progression has me so in love
Honestly, this and Bone Dry are my all time favourite, but everyone else seems to disagree and it bugs me that everyone masses around "Flight" and "Frame of Mind" and I don't really enjoy them as much

I find it ironic that all of tristam's other songs have millions of views, and this one, which has the same quality as some of his best, only has 700,000 views(if you're reading this in the future, i said this in december of 2016)

Nope this is nowhere close to his other songs. Before We Fade is definitely a weaker tune compared to stuff like Vine, My Friend, Bone Dry etc. Even Devotion and Questions which are different style from Tristam are great. Before we fade is probably the weakest tune he did in recent years
