Pretty slick setup. It is nice how you explained how each size deck will work in different applications. People should apperceive how Ventrac is honest And just not trying to sell something to someone that may not work for there specific applications. I will say also the design on the engine how its mounted is pretty nice. Looks like a lot of thought went into it.
When will y’all change it so you can use it while having the hazards and canopy on the machine? In the meantime, can I remove those attachments when I want to use the debris collection system??
Aaron... I would like to rent a 4500Z for about a month to do a rear 12 x 30 patio. This will let me know if I like it, if I do, I plan to spend about $45K and purchase one. I checked, and the local dealer only rents the attachments, not the tractor. $45K is a lot of money and I don't want to make a bad purchase.
@@johnevans6053 We'll reach out and let them know we received a request for rental. Some of our dealers do rent whole machines so maybe they will consider a program like that in the future. In the meantime, see if you can get a shorter demo.... it might answer some of your questions one way or the other. Thanks for checking it out!
It's roughly similar to the normal discharge shoot, in the down position. If needed though, the tube can be removed and the chute that bolts to the deck can hinge up, narrowing the overall width to similar stance as with the normal discharge chute flipped up.
How does react to wet leaves?? does it clog like any other attachment?? or has someone figured out a way for this to stop happening. Sometimes you just have to get out and do the work, regardless of the weather.
When leaves are wet, you have to slow down fairly significantly so you don't overload the chute. And sometimes blockages are unavoidable in conditions like that. We have tweaked the chute shape and capacity to make sure it's optimized for this situation though - in an effort to lessen the chances.
Have a question could you use it to pick up wood chips after you used the stump grinder?? To clean up the work 2 nd question is there in the works to make a chipper shredder that would mount to the front then could hook up to the Collection unit just a thought
Hello it's Brandon Arnold I want to know if I can tow the machine with my half ton Chevrolet Silverado truck because that's what I have now and what kind of trailer do I need to have.
That truck should do it. The tractor is about 1600 lbs and attachments weigh anywhere from a couple hundred pounds to about 900 lbs for our heaviest attachment (boom mower). Pick a trailer according to weight and necessary length and you'll be set!
You could mow 10 acres by the time you figure out how to mount this contraption and why a separate engine and to top it off a problematic Vanguard engine
I was wondering about the 3 point hitch. I'm glad Aaron addressed that. This is a really slick setup for those in the mowing industry
Nope....just use one of the two different mounting holes and you're good to go, whether you have the 3-pt hitch arms on or not.

Looks like im going to go get a few more attachments for my VENTRAC, A FLAIL MOWER ,THE BLOWER AND RECYCLE BEN&VAC
Love this grass catching system. I really want try one of these out, I'm obsessed with this machine.
I'm hoping the mount/dismount gets quicker after the initial setup.
Need Ventrac to invent a attachment station for all of the attachments that it has
Would like to see more videos on how to connect and disconnect different attachments for the Ventrac 4500Z machine.
Do you have specific attachments in mind? We do have our Ventrac Mount System video, czcams.com/video/Cgjw0Pn6QVA/video.html
@@ventrac any and all attachments would be fine with me.
they should make a box broom that would work with the vac
Hey you use Grip 6 belts also lol, wasn't expecting that.
They are awesome.
Might be nice to make a less expensive version without the high lift.

Where are you located?
@@ventrac Looks like the nearest dealer is 'Fletcher's outdoor power equipment' in Delmont, PA 15626

Could anyone comment whether the RV602 fits a Steiner 450, and if so, are there any modifications that need to be made?
do you have to lift the colecton up to empty it or can you dump without lifting it up
it can be dumped without lifting
So I have a 72” deck if I add this can you tell me how wide deck becomes? Just wondering if still fits in my enclosed trailer. Thanks

What is the overall length with the mower out front and collection system out back on the 4500z?
Depending on the deck, approximately 184"-188"
Small collection box

Wood chips would probably be too heavy for this vac. It might pick them up but long term, you'd probably be doing a bit of damage to the impeller.
Do they have an attachment for the rear discharge decks?
Ventrac, why was the decision made to use vanguard? I would have liked to see a honda GX 390.
We've been really happy with our Vanguard engines. They hold up well and make good power.
Honestly was expecting more then 10 to 12 bushel hopper, thats no bigger then a walker mower on the low end

It really only takes a couple of minutes to hook the Vac up once you have the brackets installed on the ROPS (which can stay on full-time)
