Garuda Robin - affordable folding bike

This folding bike was priced at P7K plus but I was able to but it only for P6K after using some discount vouchers and a free shipping voucher.

Before ako bumili ng folding bike isa sa mga na consider ko na bilihin is itong bike na to pero the time na naka punta ako sa marikina at nakita ko ang competitor ng garuda robin na folding bike which is ETERNAL CURVE mas nagustohan ko yung specs kasi almost the same sa mga dimensions wheel size pero mas magagandang parts ang naka lagay although mas mahal ng konti Compare sa garuda pero mas maganda naman ang parts kasi naka shimano 8s 1by setup X spark hydrolic break stem handle bar seat post hub lahat alloy which is naging selling point para sa akin..

I considered buying a Betta Fry 2.0 na mas maganda ng konti ang ilang parts kaysa Garuda Robin. Nung tumawag ako sa bike shop, sabi nung kausap ko 9K ang Fry pero nung bibilhin ko na naging 9.5K. Cash price pa yun. The additional 500 is not much pero as a matter of principle, ayokong kausap ang paiba-iba ang sinasabi. Ang lamang lang naman ng Fry sa Robin ay yung entry-level na hydraulic discbrake na nasa 1,300 lang online at hindi ko naman kailangan sa flatland. Binili ko na lang ang 6K na Robin, repainted it to the color I like and made some minor upgrades worth 4K. Ngayon naka Litepro handlebar n grip na sya, alloy seatpost, at Tern-style alloy stem/handlepost.

Front rack slot meron sya sir pero para sa rear rack wala.

Idol. Wala ba lock yan pag naka unfold? Yung parang young dalawang gulong mag katabi pag naka fold hindi mag hiwalay pag bubuhatin mo?

Walang magnet sir pero merong mabibili sa lazada at shopee. Yung dating mga dahon vitesse at eco namin merong magnet. Sa ngayon velcro strap lang ginagamit ko pag naka fold, parang nakamagnet na rin.

​@@dale3341 may maliit na butas sa fork saka sa may rear wheel. But not sure if the magnets' screw would fit there. I prefer the velcro strap. It's weightless and very effective.
Garuda Robin is a very low-priced foldie with alloy frame. A little upgrade, depende sa gusto mong palitan, is necessary dahil merong low quality parts, as expected. For less than 2K, the mechanical disc brakes can be upgraded to hydraulic ones.
Sa kin, ok lang ang mechanical brakes dahil usually sa flat with slight climb and downward roads lang ako. I replaced the steel seatpost, stem, handlebar and pedals with litepro and other brands na aluminum alloy. Also changed the hard grips with litepro soft grips.

@@dale3341Nasa 4k. Umabot na around 9k ang presyo ng garuda robin ko pero mas gusto ko ang specs nya ngayon kaysa betta fry na nasa 9.5k. Sa weight, halos similar lang, ilang grams lang nabawas pero mas kalidad at matibay pinalit kong mga pyesa. It looks better now too.

75 percent assembled na po. Ang front wheel, handlepost at front parts na lang ia-assemble.
