No heat muffs on the engine's exhaust, must be a hot weather bird or have a Janitrol. And the P&W 1830's with the magnetos on the front of the engines, I personally always liked that location for the mags, they're easy to get too, A friend who operated some in Alaska told me you couldn't always count on them while flying through heavy rain, but the P&W R 2800 has the ignition mounted on the nose case, no problems at all. Extremely nice restoration, I like the updated panel.
only issue with mags on the front is they're more exposed to weather & FOD there. Which would probably explain why they'd fail rather often. far too easy to ground the mags that way.
That's pretty cool. They didn't make many C-41A's or I should say the military didn't purchase all that many. Really beautiful looking. Like it was when it was the queen of the skies
High gloss polished -- beautiful! And what a nice cabin, the whole plane has been restored or repaired and is so well maintained.
Yep,put a smile on your face everytime...I want one....
What? No hockey puck dg,or ADF???
What a beautiful aircraft, I am in love with!!!

Only two produced..C-41 and a C-41A..
My favorite plane it was my dreams when I was a Little boy to become a pilot
A WORLD LEGEND DC-3 C-47 DAKOTA
Corrección efectivamente aún existe el C-41A, parece ser qué únicamente uno fue construido y fue usado
por la USAF.-
Pienso debe ser un DC-3/C-47
C-47?
Эдуард Fatalerro looks like a C 47 to me. Never heard of a C 41. But then what do I know about them? I'm on 83 years old.
Sounds more plausible.
