ORTLER 3905m, Hintergrat, AD

Ascent to the Ortler via Hintergrat (AD) at the turn of July/August 2022. Conditions good, the small glacier that is on the ridge is in good condition. Ascent from Sulden via the Hintergrat hutte.
Descent a little unconventionally along the ascent route and not along the normal route. Everyone was very surprised, but if you want to avoid the glaciers on the normal route and you want to be down faster, then the descent through Hintergrat makes a lot of sense, moreover, after a rather overcrowded ascent, you will finally have the views to yourself.
