Today we're taking a hands on look at the Leica M3 .

All my black and white pictures were made with Ilford HP5, pushed 2 stops (HP5++) and Fomapan 400+, developed on Ilfotec HC on the AXLE CR1 Rotary Processor.
I use colour film as well, a few being Kodak portra 160, 400, 800, Color plus, Ultramax, Gold, Fujifilm PRO160NS and PRO400H.

Thank you for simple way of presenting the beautiful M3. I agree it is the most gorgeous M camera with this unique ridges. I have the 35/2 V1 8 elements lens with goggles on my M3. Always a joy to shoot with even after 60 years.

Well, it'll only take 3 kidneys and 3years worth of your wages for the couple of lenses, you'll also need. Well, unless you go with Voigtlander / Zeiss lenses, then 1 year worth of wages.
The M3 is a beautiful camera and, in my opinion, smoother than the MP or M-A.

Is this a _Double Stroke_ or a _Single Stroke_ - according to the serial number, this should still be a _Single Stroke_ , right? ;-)
Though I haven't shot much with it recently, I plan on hanging onto my M3 until the bitter end. Bought it in 1969, with a Canadian 35mm Summicron. How much did it cost? $250; about $2100 now.
It is soooo beautiful.
Unfortunately / fortunately, I can't afford Leica cameras, but I do still lust and dream about the Leica M-A.
