I think the word for a throne or seat carried on the shoulders by servants is "litter" or (more rarely) "sedan" or "palanquin".

The Scripture (and all of creation) is covered with a veil. When you go past the natural understanding in one mitzvah and go through that veil into the spiritual understanding is when you get transported into the Most Holy Place. When the Tsadeek goes into the Most Holy Place he is shown things and becomes an angel (messenger of the Divine) and can bring that understanding back to earth. It is the same thing as the ladder that Yacov saw upon which the angels of Hashem were continuously ascending and descending. This going through the veil is only possible one way, and it is realizing who it is that became the ladder - Messiach, who's main message was, get eyes to see and ears to hear. Messiach, who is the second Adam who came to marry through Torah the wife (us) of the first Adam that died. He can do this because He gave the spiritual meaning to the Torah. The Greater Exodus is Him returning us to the state of Adam before the fall. Us returning to the Echad Family of Hashem.
