great track! Only one thing that i dislike, in this track, the mid-intro before the second climax has a very nice hard kick, but in the second climax, the kick is different and is less hard, which is bit too bad imo If it was otherwise, it might sound better, but overall still a great track!
Always has been, Riot Shift is a bit the first seed in that trend you describe, and Riot Shift developed themselves in Theracords for a biiig part of their career. Also Aversion has always had similar vibe (even though it was less than now it was already the case). I get you don't like them, but you can't say it's not part of Theracords identity. Oh and I almost forgot about Delete. (Which was more an influence for created more diversified and funky gated kicks but still this vibe was already planted for long)
