- In part two of this budget friendly small apartment kitchen organization hacks & ideas series, we're organizing my small kitchen and I'm sharing my best tips with you on organizing a small space. First we will organize my cutlery silverware drawer, we will organize the kitchen pantry, we will also organize the junk drawer and organize the kitchen cabinets. There will be so many budget friendly organization transformations so make sure you watch until the end to the see the satisfying before & after! I was able to get a lot organized in this kitchen organization hacks and ideas video!

Small Kitchen Organization on a Budget 2020
I love that mindset: “it’s not perfect but it’s perfect for me”
That video is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for! I’ve lived in my house almost 14 years and I have great storage everywhere except my kitchen. The art professors who used to live here didn’t really cook, so they prioritized aesthetics over function & nothing can be well organized because the drawers and cabinets are so small. It’s taken from me my love for cooking. Your storage/organization solutions in this video, especially the narrow drawers and cabinets are the same challenges I face. I’m determined to make it easier to operate in. Thank you so much!

I need a silverware holder, but my drawers are small. I have been organizing since I moved here 6mos ago. Love seeing how others have organized their kitchens.
I also love Joseph Joseph. I have the cutlery organizer which is great because I have very narrow drawers. But my favorite is the trash can. The top is for trash and the bottom for recycling. It’s awesome!

Baking trays are best stored vertically in a rack, like a toast rack but bigger. Much easier to remove them! Loving your changes and your flat is lovely :)

I would use the small thin cabinet by the microwave for my spices and the thin drawer for folded kitchen towels ☺️

Will your shelf come out and move in your above the refrigerator cabinet? If so, get a little organizer and stand your pans up on their side. Then you can see them. Put the shelf up high and put your griddle on it. Great video. Glad to see you doing so well.

Great job! I love the pantry containers, I saw ones but it doesn’t had lids this ones have it. I have the utensils organizer and is great, also want you to know that they have the knife organizer too in case you want more space on the counter top.

I love your videos. Such great motivation. Have you tried storing your bakeware in the drawer under your stove. I think its the warmer but most people don't use it unless you have guests. It will most likely free up that whole cabinet over your fridge and you can store other items that are not used in a daily basis or extra pantry space incase you need more.
I keep my baking sheets under my oven! I have heard that people use that as a warmer, I don’t think I’d ever do that! Haha
I feel the same way. I'm in a rental and it's not my forever home. We will be moving soon, however I still want to make it beautiful and functional on a budget. Btw u did a good job 👏 👍

I love that you organize for you and not for a magazine spread. It’s so real because most of us do not have the funding for picture perfect organization. And so far, what I have seen you do would certainly work for me too. Great job. And I love your rice/panko storage! I hope I can use that in my kitchen (in the middle of a remodel). I LOVE that silverware organizer!!!! I might have to get that. I have a fairly small kitchen too so if I can save some space I'm all about that. We don't have a junk drawer either but only have 2 drawers in our entire kitchen so I don't think I'll be able to make one happen! And I'm so glad I'm not the only one that hates the 360 cups. lol We only have 1 but my 2 year old loves it. I refuse to buy anymore though!

Sorry, I should’ve watched it all before commenting. I got distracted because of my OCD issues. Anywho-I use bookends to put my small sheet pans and muffin pans on their side. That has been a game changer for me. Also, not sure if you have checked out wet erase markers. They work like the dry erase, but need water to wipe off. Game changer when you don’t want ink on your hands. Glad I stumbled onto your channel.

The only issue I see with the silverware is that you can’t see what’s what but I like the idea that it condensed everything

Just let simply cut an additional shelf floor in the building market and buy suitable holders to the existing holes. Then you must not longer have to stack everything.

I did the same with our sharpie stash. Just one thin , one thick. Pens , I kept 4. Pencils, I kept 2 .

You are really making the most out of a small space.
I don't know if it would work or not, but since you don't like the pot and pan holder, maybe it would work to hold your baking items so you can get to them easier. I had mine stacked and it just got so messy and unorganized. I got something like that and it makes it a lot easier to see and get to everything. Mine is like that but turned on the other side so the opening is at the top.
Catherine , is the free stand cabinet attached to the wall? I was concern if someone pull hard on the handles it may fall over. Sorry for being so negative but was just thinking of your precious child. I love your hard work organizing your apartment.💕😀😀

You could save water by closing your faucet while you wash your dishes. I enjoyed your video, but I think that more people need to be conscious about how we use our water supply.
I have that silverware organizer and I love it so much! 😍 I am due for a new set of knives soon and they also make a knife block in the same style that can go in cutlery drawer or a cabinet. That brand literally makes some of the most incredible kitchen organizers I’ve ever seen!

My "junk drawer" is like yours but like half the length. It's the size of your extra spice drawer 😂😂😂I wish I could put the stuff in another drawer!

I like how creative you can be with a small space 😃 - I'd display the ice cream dishes. They're pretty and functional. That cupboard could host the pans you use for baking then your most used ones (cupcakes, 9x13 etc).
I might have to look into those utensil organizers. Do they need to be for a bigger drawer or standard size? We have 3 drawers in our kitchen but 2 are really only practical. (800 sq ft place) after 10 years still trying to figure out how to accommodate life in this place. 😧
They are pretty, maybe I should! The utensil organizers fit in a standard drawer, I have extra space in the front and back of them. But I’m sure they have measurements on amazon you could double check for size!
I am 5ft 4in. Reaching things is a challenge. I am having to rethink our pasta and crackers and instant potatoes. I cant tell you the amount of expired cans we found on the basement. The previous owner hoarded food....uggg.
