I've been watching your Red Alert 2 videos for a while now, and I just wanted to say that you're doing a great job. Your gameplay and commentary are both top-notch, and I've learned a lot from them.
Tg, can you please enlarge the ingame text when it says about objevctives at the beginning? It is extremely small on mobile. Or can write it as text at the bottom for us 😊
Yeah this mission was soooo clunky to finish. Not really fun to play at all given the units you have. Especially when you get into situations like in 22:20. THIS IS WHY FLAK TROOPERS ARE BULLIED IN TIER LISTS!
The guards always follow the route, use "scrap" buildings/items on the route to put a bomb , you should calculate the time of explosion and boom, it is like put a explosive mine..
I like these no building missions when you can figure out the tactics if you pay attention. But not really when it depends on multiple retries and you preemptively knowing where the enemies will be. Also these are way more tense without Boris or Tanya. May I suggest installing the mod that plays the original soundtrack too in Yuri's Revenge? YR music is good, but it has very few tracks, and becomes really repetitive. And it's subjective, but I like the base RA2 ost more :) ps: it could make Crazy Ivan more useful if he had some type of attack too, maybe throwing grenades, or some anti-armor bombs? What do you think?
@lauraallard8999 found a mod that lets you also play the RA2 music in YR, it just adds an extra file into the game folder.I doubt it conflicts with other mods, but that would have to be tried first
@lauraallard8999 personally I love the quieter, more tense music in RA2 for commando missions like this one too. Like 200 Meters, Eagle Hunters or Tension.
18:50 but still, it is frustrating that Flak Troopers in Elite status cannot kill the Rocketeers easily I've lost one Flak trooper in this mission because of them

Hey.. Check with you, what resolution are you playing in and on what OS? Origin or Retail CD? I've a problem, my tooltips doesn't seem to show when I play. From your video, the tooltips seem to be working properly.. any idea?
Sounds like you didn’t approach the boat when it was docked. You just captured the chronosphere and moved it. The boat stays put as it’s crew hasn’t been released.

Commando missions shouldn't be allowed to spam infinite units.
This mission felt to me like puzzle when I tried it. I failed many times when Ivan was killed
The key is patience.

The set music tracks can be set with triggers. Still plays the same tracks, just in the order the writer wants.

Hey, I've been using both and didn't have a problem. I suggest installing the CnC net launcher which fixes several stuff.
