Idk why I always come back to these notebooks. These just make me comfy.
I love how you used it to just write however you wanted and wherever. I like seeing a “real life” version of how someone would use this book. Not an Instagram version.
They should come out with an expanded pocket size blank notebook. That would be a dream!
I've seen people buy this one and then cut the pages down to the preferred size of their choice. 🙌🏽
They need to come out with an expanded sketchbook edition which has blank paper like the classic but each page is a heavier weight.

Thanks for this look. I just picked up a Moleskine "Two-Go" to use as my everything journal. One page is blank, the other lined. Hardbound, undated, with a pocket, bookmarks, and several colors available. It's a B6 slim size, which I love. I haven't seen much talk about the "Two-Go".

I love the soft cover classic but I'm actually in love with the lined version. I just bought a new one so I'm gonna have to wait to get the bigger one until I'm finished with this one.
I’m usually in a pocket size moleskin grid, and I use it for everything, planner, bullet journal, notetaking, commonplace book, everything. Got excited when I saw this video. I hit pause and I went to order mine! 😂I always get the softcover

Fantastic! I loved my Moleskine daily, but was not a fan of the extra stuff that I never used. I love the idea of a 400 page Moleskine to use as a journal/common place/random thoughts notebook!

I am currently using the moleskine expanded dotted notebook as a bullet journal and I love it! Mine is also a soft cover, I love that it is so chunky. I have enough pages to plan and journal everything, and I also have the same goal as you, to have one notebook (for this year) to capture all my lists and plans, as well as quotes and other personal journaling. Nice video!

I love these soft cover blank expanded Moleskines. They're such a pleasure to use, and the paper feels better than the lined versions to me, not sure why they're different.
Im a moleskin user and its amazing with fountain pen !! I don’t mind the ghosting at all because the smoothness of the writing experience is so worth it. I use the lined hardcover version because I mostly write in it and i like the hardcover because i can write in bed or on the couch or at the park with my kids, the hardcover acts as a great writing surface. I use it for “morning pages”, stream of consciousness writing (which is very relaxing, and notes if i read a good article or watch a good video.
Totally did not know Moleskine made such big notebooks but now I’m so excited to try one!!

I have a lime yellow hardcover plain paper moleskine and I use it to journal my thoughts and feelings and ideas I also have a mini red 2019 moleskine diary, but I don’t use planners and diary’s much so it’s going unused but I like how you white out the dates and reuse it . What a great idea. Love to you. ❤️💞❣️💞

That could be useful as a sketchbook for light sketching. My sketchbook doubles as my journal anyway.
I like that Moleskine came out with an expanded version! I used the same one you have here, but in dotted grid, and I don't know if it's me but the pages felt thinner than the usual. I always seem to come back to Moleskine for journaling after trying out other journals.
I've also used a daily planner for journaling, too, just cause they offer more pages than the regular notebook! The daily planner I recently ordered was an 18 month version, which has more pages than the expanded and regular daily planner! It is lined, though, which I don't mind. I do agree, however, that they should at least change it up a bit with the dailies with the other lines they offer, with dotted grid, square grid, and plain! Personally I'd try it with a square grid, because I'm always intrigued by that style.
I use saturated fountain pen inks, but....Moleskine paper is my favorite. So, I only use one side of the page and use a blotter behind. This video helped me choose the soft cover. Thanks!
I just got the hardcover expanded ruled notebook (what a mouth full) as I’m afraid the softcover would turn into curly edges.

I think the thing I love the most about Moleskine is the quantity of pages we get! People keep mixing quality up...you can match quality with 2 types of paper, Moleskine are all about having more!
I have a Moleskine Classic Collection. I'm on journal 14!!! Hard Cover, 240 pages, lined. I use it to write, draw, take notes, keep track of my sleeping patterns, financial records, and SECRETS. I want to do a video on my collection, but I don't have money to get a good camera besides my phone lol.
That's actually perfect. The dot version? You can put your own days in. That way you don't have to waste all that paper. I'll look into that!
I use a Limelight journal. It comes in different papers as well -- blank, bullet, and squared. It only offers 100 leaves, but I love it because of the paper quality. It's 100 gsm, just the weight I need. Plus, it's cheaper! It's only 219.75 pesos in my country ($4.31).
Thanks Michelle. I didn't know Moleskine had the thicker version. I think I'll try this in place of my Miguel Rius. I like the thickness of the MR but it doesn't take fountain pen ink as well as I would like. Hope you have a good week!
Hi Mike! I believe the Moleskine paper weight is the same as the Miguel (70 gsm). It's just that this notebook offers more pages, making it thicker in size. If you try it, let me know what you think of it.

I've just ordered one thanks to you! I'm waiting on a Galen Leather Large TN and the large moleskine will fit perfectly in it. I love the softness of their paper but I had to order some Muji gel pen as all of my other pens bleed through. I'm going to use it as a writing journal for my next project. I'm not that annoyed for the price as Amazon had it for 15euros instead of 25euros on the Moleskine website! :) (I'm from France).

Oh wow love this! I need one in dot grid to help me measure sketches! I just got the Leuchtturm in new pink but really want this now too 😬 {the Leuchtturm paper is a little too cream} I use the pocket daily in my chic sparrow atm and am loving doing multi-directional writing & a little watercolor as well! I know what you mean with the cream colored Leuchtturm paper. There's just something about the Moleskine Notebooks that feels "right..." (although, their paper quality would be ideal if it were 80 gsm). Cheers to #notebookaddictsunite!!

Every year my soft cover A5 back pocket always rips apart even though I’m gentle with it. I noticed yours didn’t. Is it just me?
I did my commonplace book in an archer and olive notebook because no bleeding.

I like the extra pages as well but it looks like the trade off for the expanded version is that it doesnt seem to lay flat? I dont know im just going by the video.

I use large lined, because I hand write novel drafts in the notebooks. The expanded is a dream for me! I just ordered two.

Wonder if the expanded version has super thin pages like the 12 Month Monthly Planner I just bought. It’s hard to tell on camera but the pages look thicker? The pages in my 2021 planner look almost like onion skin! Your expanded and classic Moleskine seem way thicker -I haven’t had a Classic in years so don’t remember. Wish they had a planner in Cahier. I use the cahier pockets in my TN and love them. Sewn binding and thicker pages.

I have this expanded notebook and I had mine personalized with a gold daisy on the front and my name. The bad news is that all my favorite pens bleed in this notebook so I can only use a regular ballpoint in this notebook. No more moleskines for me!
Soft cover for bullet journaling, and hard cover for sketches. I am too addicted to moleskine. I tried to migrate to other sketchbooks/notebooks...but they just...just dont feel right...

It's difficult to carry just one notebook for everything and not weigh it down in your bag...I would like that too, but in the end there are always things that are too private to take out on the street. In short, at least two notebooks. The private one and the one that can be taken out, one more creative, and another with the configuration of the week, the tasks...Maybe this is the solution.
It’s so hard to choose between ruled vs. squared...and soft vs. hard cover... But I bought the squared version with soft cover!

Ahhh damn I wanted that first moleskin one that you had, can't find it. Effort to have to write the date every day and it doesn't look as neat as having it printed. Do they still sell those?

Very cool. I use the Peanuts Moleskine planners every day. I like the one day per page. I use the large size for work and pocket for personal. This may be my solution for a notebook. Have you tried the Stalogy 365? A6, A5 and B6 sizes available and way better quality paper than Moleskine in my opinion.
Yes, I have an A6 Stalogy. And you're the right. The paper quality is a better, especially with darker inks. Just wish Stalogy notebooks had an elastic closure...

Oh, for sure. It's still your standard Moleskine paper. Ghosting galore. 😅 But since I typically use ballpoint pens with my journals, it's not too big of a problem.

I hate Moleskine notebooks with a passion. Not only Rhodia paper is much better, most cheap notebooks use better quality paper. If you use fountain pens stay away from Moleskine, it is prone to bleed through
For a few extra $ u can get either Leuchtturm or Rhodia. The quality is night and day. Even if ur a ballpoint user. People need to quit buying the Moleskine in hopes they step up the quality. The build & paper quality is awful compared to the ‘big two’...to each their own!
