I attended to concert a year ago and it was beyond great, they arent just any band.

Nathaniel Hellman 50 is a good age for voice! you can even only start to sing at 50 and it'll be fine! :) 50 is not 90))))
Inna Fay I still find it amazing.
Hansi hasn't aged in like 15 years, I think he just kinda stopped.
Well his hair line has receded so there is that.

Most likely because he took a lot of voice lessons later in his career (I think imaginations - demons & wizards).

da sieht man Qualität: manche nehmen für die Dynamik (Lautstärke) extra das Mikro vom Mund weg. Hansi macht das nicht! D.h.: er kann seine Stimme wirklich regulieren, was viele in der Musikbranche nicht können. Respekt!

I'm a bit sad for Hansi's performance. He must not have been in shape on that day, because he is capable of so much more !
Thought the same and usually he is not sitting while singing, it challenges the voice a lot when sitting instead of standing...
He actually kind of sounds nervous too.
Festus McBottom Man, Hansi did a good job here. he's voice sounds powerful and clear. If you only listen to the performance and dont watch it, it's not easy to say of it's from 2015 or from 2005.

I wish they would use the 1992 arrangement of the song.
It's not really possible when there are overlapping vocals. Plus this is superior version of the song in my opinion.
Die beste Ballade überhaupt, performed von einer der besten Bands und vor allem der genialsten männlichen Gesangsstimme die die Welt zur Zeit und auch schon der letzten 15 Jahre ( solang bin ich Fan der Jungs) zu bieten hat(te).
Aber irgendwie ein irritierender Auftritt. Hansi schein wirklich nicht seinen besten Tag erwischt zu haben wie einige schon bemerkt haben. Und warum zum Teufel sieht Hansi so aus als ob er vom Teleprompter ablesen würde??? O.K. Ich glaube echt nicht das das auch der Fall war...

Sorry, aber im ÖR wird größtenteils beschissene Kunst und politische Verwirrung gefördert.
Ohne die "Stimme der Masse" fehlt irgendwie was. Hansi ist grandios und die Band natürlich auch.
Trotzdem ist es nicht vergleichbar :)

the section from around 2:30 to 2:35 sounds a bit rough i dont know if its just the acrostics but when he sings "dont be afraid of the dark and cold" it comes off a bit strained

Wow, was war denn da los? Vielleicht war er krank? Ich glaube mich erinnern zu können, dass er auch krank performt anstatt es abzusagen. Sieht auf jeden Fall nicht gesund aus und hört sich auch nicht so an.
Ich finde das war durchaus ne ordentliche Performance. Klar er kann das besser, aber er hat auch im Sitzen gesungen was es deutlich schwieriger macht vernünftig mit dem Zwerchfell zu arbeiten.
