Biological Weapons Convention Scientific and Technological Advisory Mechanism 🔬🧫👩🏾‍🔬🗨

The Friends of the Chair, together with UNIDIR and ‪@unitednations_disarmament‬, organized this informal webinar on a BWC scientific and technological advisory mechanism. This webinar was designed to support ongoing activities of the BWC Working Group and to stimulate thinking and discussion around a mechanism during the intersessional period. The event consisted of an expert panel followed by a moderated question-and-answer session with the audience.

• Ourania Kosti (TBD), Executive Director of the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) - IAP proof of concept meeting on a BWC Scientific Advisory Body.
• Peter Babigumira Ahabwe, Technical Advisor, Uganda Ministry of Health - Closing remarks and next steps.
