Team Of The Year For 2023
2023 has been a long and very interesting year in the world of football, and now that we have come to the end, we want to look at the most outstanding players this calendar year.
This is the Team of the Year for 2023.
In goal, we have Marc Andre ter Stegen. The German shot-stopper had one hell of a 2022-23 season in La Liga.
At right-back, it can be none other than Kyle Walker. Not only did the Englishman win 5 trophies with Manchester City this year, he was actually one of the club’s most important players on their road to achieving tremendous success.
At center-back, we have Kim Min-jae. The South Korean defender was a revelation at Napoli in the 2022-23 season
Pairing him at center-back would be Gabriel. He was super solid and dependable for Arsenal in the 2022-23 season, and you could say he was one of the reasons the Gunners were in the title race.

Ter stegen did well but Maignan was way better
Not sure about Gabriel. I could name at least two center-backs that were better than him. Ruben Días, even though he hasn't exactly had the best start to the 2023-24 season, his 2022-23 campaign should not be forgotten. Easily the best center back in the world that season and easily better than Gabriel. Even his Arsenal teammate Saliba was better than him. He's a good defender but in no way he deserves to be here over Dias or Saliba.
Also Saka shouldn't be here over Salah. Good 22-23 season and excelent start to this season. No doubt Salah was better than Saka. And Ødegaard shouldn't start over De Bruyne. Even though he was injured for a part of the year, he still was, better than Ødegaard.

I think your an Arsenal hater mate. Yes Salah har been brilliant this season but last season Saka was just so much better that makes him better then Salah becouse Salah wasn’t that good last season. De Bruyne was incredeble last season for me i think he was the best player in the World in the 22/23 season but he has only played during half of the year becouse of his injuri this season so even tho De Bruyne has been amazing when he has played he can’t be in the team when he only has played half the year. But i aggre Gabriel shouldn’t be there i mean it’s criminal that Dias isn’t in the team. For me i think it should have been a centerback paring of Dias and Saliba
