Have I ever mentioned you are one of the most brilliant people I know on the face of the Earth. I am really digging the Pololu controller right now. Thanks again for posting this. :)

When I grow up I want to be a animatronic haunter too! I was very interested in both videos even though I had no clue what you were talking about. Someday, I will understand. Thanks Pat.

@Joiseygal The program was available at no cost from the Pololu website, not sure if it is still free. You would want to use metal gear high torque servos. That's what I use for the 3 axis. i have seen servo used on an elbow movement, will try and find that link. I used mini servos with nylon gears for finger movements on the witches hand. Didn't work as well as I hoped but I think that was more my engineering than anything else.

@dionicia12 No I'm not. Down at the bottom left of the page is a button "Save Frame". You may have to move the window up to see it. Also, you won't see the button if the servos and power are connected. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for your 6 channel Micro Maestro servo controller tutorial. You are an excellent teacher.
May I ask if you figured out how to use Motor shaft encoders with the Micro Maestro servo controller? .

Just to clarify, are you hitting control and "s" to save the frame? If that's the case, you just helped me immensely and I owe you big time.

Also do you need to buy a program to use the the micro maestro? How much does the servos cost? Very interesting, but the reason I ask if the unit would be able to move hands is because I thought it would be cool to use two for head movement and two for hands/arm movement.

How heavy of the object can you have the servos move? Can you use them for hands instead of head movement?

Increase the speed for example, but what number is considered a maximum? Is there a within parameter

How about making the amount they turn less for each frame? So for 60 degree movement you can do either 60 degrees in one frame - fast, or over 3 moves at 20 degrees each time- slower. Would that not work? Great video, thanks for posting it!
