  • Olympialaiset on vihdoin täällä!
PS. Toiveisiinne on vastattu… Remi on vihdoin saatu videolle vierailevaksi tähdeksi!

Welcome to China!!! Thanks for the great Vlog... I am 100% sure they just tried to warn you at the stairway because of the icy and slippery steps. Aslo feel free to ask for help from the Chinese volunteers, they will give you a warm and friendly hospitality. Good luck to your competition!!!

Hahaha As a Chinese this cracked me up. 1:39 in the video, he said that when he opens the door it says "welcome". It actually just says "(the door is) unlocked 已开锁 yi kai suo". But I could imagine that when he goes back to Finland and he will start to tell his friends to say to Chinese tourists who come to Finland "Hello你好, unlocked已开锁"..

It might not be your intention to be funny but I laughed my heads off when you described these rules and facilities we Chinese are so familiar with that we don’t question much. Lovely to hear your opinion and understanding about them, especially the door that was there but didn’t function. Thank you for taking us a tour! Wish you good luck! Safe trip!

In the year of 2015, the Beijing Winter Olympic Game was determined to be held on 4th Febuarary of 2022. There are two reasons for this date: 1) it's relatively cold in north China,
the low temperature can keep the field at a good state; 2) it's the Chinese New Year,
that's very lively, bustling, and vibrant, and that's the best opportunity for the athletes to enjoy Chinese culture. The traditional Chinese New Year usually lasts 15 days, from the day of 'Spring Festival' to the day of 'Lantern's Day'. The athletes can go to the urban area to have fun with Chinese people to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Delicacy, handicrafts, folk show..., all funny stuff would be demonstrated in the 15 days!! Very exciting!! Of course, in the year of 2015 nobody can predict Covid-pandemic in 2020.

I think that she warned you because it could be slippery on those stairs. it would be a serious injury if you fell. They are responsible for you safety, and they dont want anything bad happen to any athletes. it is very important for them to make sure everyone has a happy and safe stay. no, it is not your own fault if you fall and injured. They would think that way, they definitely would feel bad if that happened.

I’ve watched all your video and found it enjoyable. However, you seem much too suspicious about everything especially the people. I’m British and living in China for 12 years and there’s a very large population of foreigners living and working in China. I’m living south of Shanghai but in that area there are 3 British universities, two American universities and several German and French universities. China is a wonderful place to live and the people are kind and generous… they’re also innocent by western standards. I hope you get a chance to discover that on your trip and I also hope you win lots of medals. Good Luck!

If you jump and get injured, the person in duty will be answerable to his superior on why you were not advised not to jump on slippery steps. And for God sake, the gyms are available so please head to gym and do your exercise. No one will ask you to stop exercising in the gym. You heard too much negative stuffs about China. You went to the dining hall without showing us the food? Can you please show us food/dining hall tour when you're no longer busy.

ha-ha 😁, Our Chinese toilet paper needs to be packed and thrown away separately after wiping our hips. It can't be washed away with water. It's not water-soluble. The red box in the cabinet is a protective mask, which can be used to save lives in case of fire. Look forward to the wonderful performance of all athletes.
