My 3rd time riding there and made it to the big rock face before giving up right below the lake. Such a hard trail you have mad talent. We were dragging bikes too..

Absolutely killer ride man! I am local and really want to try the trail, but the shale rock has been my biggest weakness on a bike.
Wow! Crazy speed. I’d been wrapped around a tree 1/4mi in at that speed.

Love that trail. First time i did it about 8 years ago on an 03 cr250, made it to the lake. Alot smoother on my 300 with cone valves thats for sure! LOL

@@chickenbotham go explore!! No chance in heck that im going to leave the trail name in the comments, sorry man! I can almost promise Max isnt either. There's only so many motorized trails open in the states, so not very hard to figure plus this trail does NOT need any more traffic which posting on the internet it would get and get destroyed and shut down. It is truly a pro level hard enduro trail the last few miles, you can see even max got stuck a few times. Theres a few spots if you fall you die, no joke! grab a motorized use map and go explore! Cheers!

In Utah we have riders running head-on into other riders, mountain bikers, and hikers because they are going too fast around blind corners to avoid oncoming traffic. Several fb posts just this year show accident carnage on SINGLE TRACK!! Sure going fast is fun, but if you have no lead rider checking the trail is clear, or you are not on a directional trail this is asking for trouble. How would you feel if you ran over some kid on a mountain bike that had earbuds in and could not hear you approach?
Firstly, if you are mountain biking in the mountains with headphones in, you are asking for trouble. Lions, bears, other wildlife and dirt bikes are all expected hazards when on public land.
Secondly, we did recon on the trail before hand so we knew it was kosher.
Yes, there is a certain amount of risk involved with hammering singletrack.

It's too bad that you guys have to show "how fast" you can go up a trail. I could do the same but I leave that for the track. Guys. really think about what you are communicating! You're pretty bad PR for riders out there if racing up a trail is what you do. How about enjoying the trail and looking around as you're riding. The way your're riding means you're basically "locked in" on the trail in front of you. One look off and you're off the trail! Again horrible PR for us other riders out there. If we all did this, there'd be no trails left for us to ride on... Just saying!
