The entire northeast is very safe for women.
The went to Meghalaya on a tour with my family and women there were wearing gold-chains out in the open and when asked they told us that they can roam freely with these chains out in the open 'cuz its very safe for women there.
It makes me wonder sometimes actually many times that why can't we achieve this in our regions.
If only there were industries and jobs there in NE India then it would have been the best place for women to work there.
