Hi Graham Always a problem with overcabs, but not so bad with the A-class, though it does depend on how mobile you are. You can get up to the bed without the ladder by stepping on to the bench seat on the passenger side as its then not to much of a gap to the bed. Just be careful not to stand on the people in the lower bunk when getting out.
