Excellent trip report! You're lucky you got to fly on this aircraft. They aren't easy to find these days.
there are many in Dominican Republic. Sunrise and Air Century still use them. Son come quick to make a flight before they are gone, as they will be replaced by CRJ-200 in the near future.

Hi, contry name is not SANTO DOMINGO, the name of the country es Dominican Reublico. Santo Domingo is the capital of it.
Don't be so sensitive. We all know that. Even my wife (who's from La Isabela) sometimes refers to the entire country as Santo Domingo
