Love it when you get the shakes and Willie's when them big ones get you flustered after the swipes. Fun to watch your rod tip when they smack your lure or streamer and your reaction time. You krack me up, dude! Keep rippin them lipps my friend!!!
Now that was the type trout I caught back in 21 when covid was everywhere but one one was on the stream best day ever on the water just like your day thanks.
Yeah that is the knot that my dad taught me when I started fishing and I’ve been using it ever since….. literally never used a different knot ever! Lol🤙
Palomar knot? That's what I do and it's SUPER STRONG AND QUICK! best knot of all time and my gp to. Seldomly to I use anything different except for the bait loop knot when using skein for steelhead up here in Western ny
i love when they look like a great white chasing a seal up on the beach lol lol gets your heart pumping lol i notice over the years those bows in winter when there famished are super agressive in water 40 or below they just dont give up ive caught fish right around them... and they still hit rainbows being bows dont see that with browns too often lol lol also you sure seem to be very lucky on your 1pct coming back for round number two missed big browns lol id say more like 14 pct lol lol especially post spawn hens they are pretty agressive trying to put weight back on after the rigors of spawning
If they are tied on a jig head, they’re hair jigs. I fish em under floats on centerpins. Streamers are tied on straight hooks, body weighted or none, chucking with a fly rod.
Lol….. yeah that beast definitely caught me by surprise…. appreciate the compliment my man, and definitely going to be working on some more new videos soon! 👌🤙😁
I’m not really sure of the name of the knot, but it’s the one my dad taught me when I was young and I’ve been using it ever since. Basically tie a loop in the end of your line, make the end of your loop small and feed it through the eye of your lure/hook then put your lure/hook through the loop of your line and cinch you it tight! It’s a super simple but super strong knot! 👌 I will try to demonstrate in some of my future videos! 🤙😁
Awesome videos. Just started watching this one but I have been watching your other videos all day while I drive from stop to stop for work. Do you know about how heavy your streamers are, are they like a tungsten conehead? How deep can you get them down using the 8lb mono? Any brand of mono you prefer? I mainly use spinners, but I want to try streamers on the spinning setup. Most streamers I come across are light fairly light. But I have some areas where I think heavier streamers would do well.
Appreciate the love man…..🤙😁 I use Stren mono….. I think the streamers I run are 1/4 or 3/8oz……. Not 100% sure, my good buddy makes them for me….. they definitely get down good though! 👌 Yeah spinners have been my go-to for years but I’m just changing it up a little lately! 🤙😁
@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 I think I remember you saying that your buddy made the streamers in a fb post a while back. Does he sell them by any chance?
The streamers I use are a homemade pattern that my good buddy ties…… he floats a few of them my way but unfortunately doesn’t sell them to the public! 🥴🤷♂️ Yeah those rubber net baskets are the Bee’s Knees 🤙😁
Appreciate the follow & the compliments boss! No my buddy makes those streamers for me….. unfortunately he’s not selling them to the public 🥴🤷♂️ They are basically just a bucktail jig though with a little more flash! Marabou I believe! 👌
A good buddy of mine whips me up some streamers every now and again….. usually get like 6 or 8 at a time & then try not to lose them all lol….. think they are either 1/4 or 3/8 oz.
@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 oh nice I gotta try tying my own.. I want some heavy jig streamers you should try jigging those streamers with a fly rod you probably would like it
If you watch some of my older footage that I’m about to put out, (before I started pinching my barbs and some of them, before I had a net) that is absolutely how I landed every fish was by playing it out, however since I’ve gone to barbless only….. the more you play a fish the better chance you have of it coming off/losing it! 🤷♂️
Awesome browns man ,that rainbow may have been a stocker but hey it was a friggin tank👍
Cold day, nice water and good fishing trip and a few nice one landed too, tight lines and thumbs up.

How do these stocked rainbows get up these wild brown streams, is this stream stocked with them?
It’s my best guess but I think these big rainbows are swimming up out of the bigger stream that this feeder runs into! 🤷♂️
😂😂😂💪third time a charm
Yeah buddy…… persistence was key on that one! Lol👌😁🤙

Why do you always hook the fish and then go right into the net. Why don’t you play the fish more? I want to see you actually fight the fish.
