How to Use Font Glyphs in Adobe Illustrator

How to access fancy font character alternates in Adobe Illustrator to completely change the look of your graphic designs!

Just a heads up: on the top of your glyphs window there's a drop box where you can select "alternates for current selection" and make your life much easier

when i go to my glyphs panel there's nothing there. don't seem to have any different character styles or swashes for any font. how do i get those?

First make sure that the fonts you are using have extra swatches and Glyphs. I'm pretty sure you know this but just in case. Not all fonts have so many variants.
