Must I think this restroom was built in 1929, since that was the year that the Standard Sanitary Mfg. Co. had acquired Thomas Maddock & Sons (who had made the Madera, Madbrook and Madstone); it was also in '29 when Standard Sanitary had merged with American Radiator and a few other small firms to create what is now American Standard.
Oh wow, this has got to be one of the rarest, most unique bathrooms I have ever seen! I love the side flushometers and the logos on these old toilets! Great find and thanks for posting!
The urinals are "Standard" Chinal urinals. The Madbrook toilet is made by Maddock. Maddock also made the Madera. In 1930 "Standard" bought out Maddock and they started making the Madbrook and Madera toilets.
@toiletfan1 The made them as well as the Madstone urinal. Nice classic men's room! It totally screams 1920s right down to the original Sloan Royal flushometers.
My middle school (Bellows Falls Middle School in Vermont) used to have one of those types of toilets in the nurses office and one of the staff bathrooms. The building was build in 1926 so it's likely that those toilets were there when the building was first built. The one in the nurses office had a problem with something and it would flush for minutes at a time. Since the school was renovated a while back, it's unfortunately safe to assume both those toilets are long gone.
+The Channel of Random Plumbing Fixtures You could make one from a Sloan 120; but the one for the wall-mounted bowls (model 133) have a more curved ell used as the spud connection that is not widely available now.
its perfect for me because I refuse to flush a public toilet with my hands I always kick the handle with my foot restrooms can be gross so I try to stay as clean as possible
Two awesome rare toilets! Though i'm in the uk and we dont celebrate thanksgiving, i don't think there is a better way of celebrating it than uploading some proper american build toilets like these :) Hope you had a good day
Now that's an incredible bathroom! They've all got the original flushometers too!
Well, except for the handle grips... they were originally porcelain handles; the 1st one had its replaced in the 1950s, and the 2nd one after 1971.

That Madbrook is made by "Standard" under their original name, Maddock.

I think those urinals are Standard Chinals; unless anybody knows differently.
They are Chinals.
I like the side spud look, how there's nothing behind the toilet.
Side spud was discontinued by the 1930's, which is why any valves in this side-spud state are awesome finds nowadays.

ClassicTVMan1981X Okay.

The flushometers on the urinals have no vacuum breakers; this building must have existed before codes required the use of vacuum breakers.
You should do one with long drop toilets
This is unusual toilet I never seen a flushometer on the side only at the back of the toilet

The toilets have side-mounted spuds rather than the common front or back spuds.
