So the title is maybe misleading since the video wasn't centered around that soulmates quote…at first I wasn't going to even use it but then I thought that it would sound nice at the end, and honestly "like best friends but more" is exactly how I would describe these two!
I'll admit that in the first couple seasons I didn't really see them as having romantic potential and I just thought "oh this is a nice friendship." But then in season 3 I started loving them more and more and also started seeing them in a more romantic light, then 4x01 happened and OMG they were so fantastic!!! Whoever wrote that episode THANK YOU (and can you please come back and give us more??) With all the hearteyes it made me wonder, was that in the script/direction or are Carlos and Danielle just doing that on their own? I kind of still doubt that the writers will go down the romantic path with these two, but 4x01 definitely made me second-guess that. And then in 4x09 when Cisco got the box from Gypsy and at first thought it was a break-up box I was like OMG THEY'RE REALLY GOING THERE, CAITLIN'S ALREADY SINGLE AND THEY'RE BREAKING UP CYNCO AND MY BABIES ARE GONNA GET TOGETHER - then when it turned out to be what it was I was sooooo deflated lol but I should have known better. I guess I had my shipper goggles on lol. So anyway, that's how I know they're an OTP for me now xD
This probably comes as a surprise, but I'm pretty sure after Bellarke, Killervibe is my next top ship at the moment ♥

I literally spent hours in the killervibe tag on Tumblr looking for scenes and taking notes, then I watched a bunch of Killervibe videos and took more notes, plus just looking through episodes and searching transcripts - honestly this is by far the most “research” I’ve ever put into a video. aw i love this so much! i agree with you that in the early seasons i didn't seem them as romantic. i saw them as great friends. but then s3 made me see them in a new light. i honestly thought they were going to become romantic then. i mean it hasn't happened and i don't see it happening anytime soon if i'm being honest. however if the writers ever do go there with them i'm totally on board with it. i think these two would be cute! and this video definitely shows that! great job :)

Well, I never shipped them romantically, being a snowells hardcore shipper myself, but I love this video and I love their friendship! I don't see any chemistry there, but it's ok if you do. I just love how they're so close and always there for each other. They have the best kind of friendship you could have.

Tbh this was meant to be interpreted in any way, because even if I’m calling them “soulmates” I do think platonic soulmates are a thing :) I didn’t truly start shipping them romantically till 4x01 because of their interaction and the way they looked at each other - it’s way outside the realm of my friendship experience even though I do have some really close friendships, so for me personally I can’t interpret it as "just" friendship, as least not the typical kind. OH HOLY HELL! This is *mind blowing* woooooooooooooooooow! I mean it! You're probably going to dislike me for what I'm about to say but it's okay, as long as you'll continue doing these masterpieces. So, I ship snowbarry (yes, yes...i know) but I have never seen anything like this before... The number of parallels with the editing to this simple song is just soooo mesmerising. I never saw them as a couple until s3. In season 3 I think he started developing feeling for her, and in season 4 he found out that he loved her. Just the way he acts when he's around her is so cute, and how he was so happy that she joined Team Flash again proves another point. I think part of the reason he broke up with Gypsy is because he loves her. I hope Caitlin and Cisco become a thing someday. They would be so cute together.

Romantic chemistry is extremely hard to relay onscreen, but platonic chemistry isn't always the easiest either, especially because writers are so obsessed nowadays with turning every friendship into romance. I'm glad they avoided that with Cisco-Caitlin and kept them platonic, easily the best platonic male-female friendship since Lucas-Haley from One Tree Hill.
