      There was a genetic hybrid that is the immunization to Meduciod Mycilium (Might have spelled that wrong) in the sugar bowl. The schism was caused when Beatrice stole the sugar bowl from Esme Squalor then when fleeing she tried to hit Esme with a Poison dart but Olaf's father got in the way and he was hit. The Lemony that Beatrice wanted to name her kid after was Lemony Snicket because they were in love and he told everyone he threw the poison dart that killed Olaf's father and faked his own death

    I can't believe you didn't mention literary references. They probably were also in the book, but they probably weren't explained. Prufrock Prep got my attention, of course, because it obviously got its name from "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" by T. S. Eliot. Another that I noticed right away was in that auction when the other orphans were potentially going to be auctioned off, they were supposedly put in a box simply called "Lot 49," and Count Olaf introduced the item as, "The Crying of Lot 49," which, of course, is the title of a novel by Thomas Pynchon. I hear things like that and thought, "Forget kids, this show was made for English majors!"

    Mr Poe is a villain!
    The Baudelaires and the Quagmires homes were burnt down, who's the only person who has a bad cough in the series as if he's been near smoke from a fire? Exactly Mr Poe and in episode 3 Mr Poe says he wife brought him some new binoculars and later that episode it was said that Jerome a family friend of the Baudelairs parents had his binoculars robbed. Plus who is in charge of the newspaper the one who always mistells news and says that olafs fake restaurant was IN? yes Mrs Poe. And Mr Poe always mispronounces olafs name and never believes the orphans when they say the guy in disguise is count olaf... CONTINUOUSLY!
    IT'S clear to see that Mr Poe has something to do with the Baudelairs misfortune.

    • @henryruston9572
      @henryruston9572 Před 5 lety +18

      PJ JR it is comical. Poe has no ties to the fire department as he has never recognised old VFD associates, Olaf, Larry. And you really think he’d hire Jacquelyn as an assistant if he was on the fire starting side? Also its clear that his cough is from a fire when he spits phloem into his handkerchief. Furthermore, you really think Beatrice and Bertrand would allow him to take care of the children if he was a villain?
      I see where your coming from but there’s too much opposing ur theory

    • @deleted417
      @deleted417 Před 5 lety +4

      Paul John I understand where you’re coming from. Also, in the village he chose to believe that Sunny was responsible for killing “count Olaf “ and also beloved that jacques was count Olaf, when they look nothing alike. Also, it really doesn’t matter what we think, as only the director and the producer knew what they meant and if Poe really was the villain.😊☺️
