Hello, Joseph. I proudly watch adverts on CZcams for channels that I am subscribed to because you all put in so much time, effort, and love into your uploads. I don't watch the long, drawn-out ones unless it is worth spending loads of time on. I completely understand those people that need immediate watch time on videos. We created a society of instant gratification. You so deserve to enjoy a wee bit of income from your two channels. Much love to you and hubby, and blessings to all. 🙏🏻💕
I've got CZcams premium and something is wrong because I still getting ads and I can't come off the channel to look on Facebook or WhatsApp trying to figure out wtf is going on I pay 12 quid a month
I don't know what it's like in the UK but here in the US we get Social Security and can claim it at a certain age. The cap for me is 66 and 11 months, so almost 67 which is 2 years from now. I can't live on that kind of money because I was self employed for most of my working career so to be monetized with ads is an absolute for me to continue to do this as long as I can. You might feel differently 15-18 years from now or not. I know that ads are a pain because I watch a lot of videos, however people can skip if they want to. Maybe you will want to work until your 75, I don't know, but I don't want to. Geez, the way the world is going, I know many seniors that age that are bagging groceries or driving a bus for a couple hours a day to supplement their income. It's a crap shoot to be honest but, like I said, you may change your mind or not. Sponsorship is a tough subject. I have turned down quite a few because the perks are not really something to brag about unless I really like the product, so I say no. I have said yes to some interesting products. Companies go for the big guns on CZcams which is sad imo but that's the way of the world in everything basically. Numbers, views, looks...matter. Pfffft. What about being a good, fun person? Novelty huh? LOL

As you know, THOJ is not my first channel and my largest one has just under 50,000 subscribers. It was from my experiences of running that I suppose that gave me my utter hatred of ads! People were accusing me, openly, of cashing in on the ads YT placed on my videos and yet I never monetised that channel either. I guess it's also because I'm in more or less full time work now and doing sooo much overtime that I can kind of afford to give ads a wide birth on the channel. I'm certainly not rich or even comfortable Susi but I am happy. Very happy. Money, to me, is not and never will be a deciding factor in my channel or videos on the channel. I have noticed a massive increase in the amount of ads being shown on this platform and I remember, very clearly, the old days of CZcams (where Wayne Goss has only 1000 subs! Imagine that!) and the ads were nowhere near as abundant and annoying as they are now. I go onto YT and just know that I'm in for at least 5 solid minutes of watching ads which is not why I went on there. I don't want that for THOJ or for my beautiful ones. In the end, people will simply vote with their feet and boycott certain channels imho. Love you Susi. ❤️❤️❤️

My channel is monetized and I don’t even watch my own ads because they are annoying 😆But here’s the thing…I have been monetized since about October of last year and still have yet to earn the minimum $100 to receive payment. I love making beauty vids because they are FUN and a creative and social outlet, but should my income from my channel grow I promise to stay the same. I love your integrity Joseph! If you ever change your mind about ads or sponsorships I support you and I’m confident many, many others will as well. It’s a steep hill to climb so if you choose to be rewarded, go for it! ❤️
