    How does the interrelationship of anthropology , political science, and sociology create impact upon the growth of modern human societies?

    • @K12StudyClub
      @K12StudyClub  Před 3 lety +5

      Well they are interrelated because they all study human in a social context, instead of biological or natural science perspective.
      They were able to have an impact in the growth of modern societies since it enabled the people to study cultures, societies of other group of people beside themselves that helped them understand the world they're living in on a broader sense. So, we were able to adapt, to create programs that enhances standard of living and helping other people who needs it, and many more.

    • @K12StudyClub
      @K12StudyClub  Před 3 lety +4

      there are a few points i can mention here, such as, by studying anthropology and sociology, you will be able to better understand other people's culture and how they interact with other group of people or society, while having this set of principles, traditions and culture. You will also be able to understand yourself better. By studying political science, on the other hand, will help you become a better citizen (or leader, in the future, if you want to), by becoming aware of how the government functions, the concept of governance and politics as well as knowing your rights as a citizen.

    What are the perspective of Anthropology, Sociology, and Political Science?

    • @K12StudyClub
      @K12StudyClub  Před 3 lety +5

      They have different perspectives:
      Anthropology is more on the study of human race in different times, setting and environment. Sociology on the other hand, focuses more on how humans interact with other people or groups of people. The formation of society and communities and these entities affect their behavior, practices and principles. Political Science focuses on the distribution of power and how it is being used in the governance of a society or a state.

    • @K12StudyClub
      @K12StudyClub  Před 3 lety +2

      There are different aspects in which the pandemic can be addressed. For example, in political aspect, by using different governing styles and decision-making processes, the handling of the situation will be good (which is actually the case, in my opinion).. in sociological aspect, we might be able to understand how some people still break curfew, still go out of the house unnecessarily due to their behavior and their needs. In cultural aspect, maybe there is a cultural belief where some group of people belief in destiny or fate, if you are meant to get infected, then you are going to be infected regardless is you follow the rules of the government or not. There are many aspects...

For example, you are getting a PSA birth certificate, and you realize that the line is too long and the waiting time is too long as well. Then you hear people complaining about the government or the "system". As a person with knowledge on these fields you will be able to stay calm and will know that there is process behind these things that needs time, also you will understand that the person complaining might be having a bad day or have different views regarding the government that is why he/she is complaining...

    • @K12StudyClub
      @K12StudyClub  Před 3 lety +2

      Well, we can say that these concepts are interrelated to one another and they came from the fact that people does tend to have relationship to other people. Thus, creates a group which in turn creates a society. And this society, creates traditions, practices and beliefs, this becomes culture. And, we all know, in every group there really is dominance, or power. So, by that, politics is born. So, all of these are interrelated, interconnected to each other because they are within us.. they came from our relationships and needs, as a human, to one another.

      There are various activities that showcases the nature and goals of these three fields. First, getting to know one's own culture and ethnic identity, since not all of us actually know our own roots. And then, sharing these new discoveries about ourselves with the class in order for them to learn about you, and you to learn more about them. Even the structure of your own class officers and how, more often than not, there are people who gets elected to the same position every year. That is politics inside the classroom. For sociological aspect, you can try to reflect on the different groupies or barkada within a class, their organization (because it actually has an organization and structure) and how these groupies interact with other people as individuals. I hope that somewhat helped.

      I do read of all the questions and comments, it's just that I am quite busy these days. To answer your question, these concepts and topics included in this lesson, specifically, is to help you, (first) know what is anthropology, sociology, and political science. By knowing, you might realize that you are interested in these field of study and might like to pursue this in College or as a career path. Second, is for you to apply the theories discussed in the preceeding lessons. For example, knowing about cultural relativism will make you look at your own culture in a different perspective and will help you understand other cultures better. In trying to understand other cultures better, you are giving yourself an opportunity to become good mannered towards them and sensitive to different types of issues that is happening in our lives (some of them actually leads to misunderstanding, conflicts and even war), and by being aware, you can avoid such conflicts and other catastrophes.

      There are various perspective of anthropology.. for example, it tries to study how human have evolved in relation with its environment and interaction with other people rather than just focusing on the biological aspect. Also, to study different customs, traditions, beliefs, principles of different people living in different settings and different points in time that might help us understand different people in our own time.
