I don't know a lot about birds. But this looks like that best way to keep them. Lots of room to fly, places to perch and hide, other birds to interact with. I'm no bird expert, but I do know a little about keeping other animals. If I got birds I'd do it like this.
As soon as I saw some of the plants ( Grevilleas, Callistemons....) in this aviary I thought 'yay! an Australian aviary!' Then I noticed the silver eye and the splendid wren ( I'm new to watching aviary videos and this is the first time I've seen them in an aviary ) and it was bliss :) All your birds are incredibly lucky to live in such a wonderful space....from another Aussie :)
Wow that aviary is spacious , love to see caged birds with lots of room to fly around ... and it´s also big enough for a motorcrosser to have some fun in ;)
This is how an aviary should be, lot's of natural cover, birds will behave naturally when they know they have some place to hide if need be, beautiful aviary. Pity about the bikes lol, the birds are obviously used to it.
I subbed to your beautiful Aviary it's amazing how many species you have has to great to see them every day great job Sir I am looking forward to your videos thanks.
wow beautiful, u r one lucky personhow do ur birds take care of rain?, birds tend to sleep wherever they want to, what if it rains or there is a thunderstorm?
I'm having a go at growing millet on my windowsill, my nosey gossiping neighbours will probably think it's cannabis! If they want to see a criminal they just need to look in a mirror, I don't even smoke cigarettes!!
Too many birds, no space to retreat... only the very hardy ones will have offspring there. Even in the bird watching hotspot of Kaengrachan in Thailand you wont have this density, and I stayes there a couple of days surrounded by sultan tits, ivory blue birds, bulbus, leaf birds, hornbills, leopards, elephants, tokkees, spectacled monkeys....
There are many components to creating an amazing design. One place I discovered which succeeds in merging these is the Aviary Magic Method (check it out on google) definately the most helpful course that I have ever heard of. look at this unbelievable resource.

They get under the sheltered areas. Two sides of the aviary is solid with covered roof.
Where abouts are you located? Just wondering since I saw a little Silver Eye bird found in New Zealand.
Cheers, Luke.
