I'd say the exhaust cost well over $5,000 just by looking at the welding and how the pipes were cut.

@@mojojoji5493 it's probably a hemholz resonator. Sometimes called a j pipe resonator for the shape of the pipe. The end of that fat section would be capped. A j-pipe (it can be any shape but they are usually tucked up next to the tailpipe for space reasons) can work in 2 ways. 1 reflected waves, or 2 hemholz resonance. Reflected waves work on sound waves moving through the exhaust gasses and hemholz works on oscillating gas motion. Reflected waves work entirely on length and can be calculated by the speed of sound. You would find an offending sound you want to quiet and make it so when that frequency enters the j pipe and reflects off the closed off end and makes it back to the entrance of the j pipe it will be off in phase from itself and create a vibration inverse to the one you want to get rid of. A hemholz still creates an inverse vibration but the gas in the j pipe acts more like a weight of a pendulum and the gas in the chamber at the end acts like a spring which acts as the gravity in the pendulum analogy. It a way of flowing as a straight pipe but making things a little easier on the ears and possibly more musical
