The Final album of this project. Only took me 9 years. This is up there with their top 3 albums for me. The first 7 tracks are as good as anything they ever did. www.michaelgmoore.co.uk
Gold & silver & sunshine to everyone. Thanks Mr. Moore. Here the setlist Bag it up 04:08 The turning (into prudence) 08:55 Waiting for the rapture 13:10 The shock of the lightning 17:08 I´m outta time 21:00 High horse lady 24:18 Falling down 28:18 To be where is the life 30:24 Ain´t got nothin´ 32:20 The nature of... WTF? Gonna love this like a millonaire 34:52 Soldier on
Excellent arrangements of a much overlooked album. This album takes you back to Definitely Maybe, bypassesing pop Oasis and linking back to early days to close the loop on the amazing arc of an amazing band.
These are the best Oasis covers I have heard, on the internet and everywhere. I would love to see you cover The Verve's Discography since they are my favorites.
You also think that the first seven tracks off this album are fantastic too? I’ve always thought so too! I usually see fans typically underrate this album and DBTT quite a lot, I’ve always thought their last two albums are next-best after their first two. Anyway, thank you again for your rendition of another Oasis album, all of these sound great!
I do. Such a great sound too, the best produced of all the albums. I’d like to think that if they got back together they’d go to Dave Sardy again. The turning is an incredible song. Always gives me a buzz for the last chorus
If i have my choice of Oasis albums to listen to, this one normally wins. The first 7 tracks and how they combine is brilliant. Best produced album by far
@@michaelgmooremusic I feel if you want the attitude and pure oasis you have to go for definitely maybe but if you want their best album overall it's got to be DOYS
I remember listening to the first on while doing an all nighter for a uni project. Now years later I'm listening doing an all nighter for a work project. Bloody brilliant.
Vocals are excellent and you did a nice job getting all the Oasis lyrics in all these covers! And everything else. Some HFB, BE and Liam wouldn't be wrong.
Noel or Liam needs to see this. You make these songs your own and really let the Piano take these songs in different places. You really put your own stamp on them and don’t try to sound like Oasis. You let the Melodies speak for themselves. Plus hope this isn’t a diss but it’s almost like your giving these tracks a Radiohead vibe
Damnit. I heard Millionaire one time years ago, and forgot about it. While trying to write a song, the chorus melody bubbled up in my head, and I thought I'd written it, but I wasn't sure. I stored it away, and then years after that, watched this video. 33:00 comes around, and my brain explodes with that feeling you get when something barely remembered is finally fully recalled. Mad, but what a great way to find out that I didn't write it! Thanks for doing all of these covers, dude. You're a brilliant musician, and I wish you continued success.
Like a London bus, wait a lifetime and then two arrive together - class video again - big thanks for all of these videos. Too much to ask for a last mini-encore to pick up Sad Song, Boneheads Bank Holiday, Who Put The Weight of the World and Lord Dont Slow Me Down? - love these tracks.
Thanks mate. It’s my pleasure. Actually lining a little something special to bookend this series of videos. Something that should appeal to the viralist as well as the proper oasis fans. All of the above will be covered 👍
Underrated album this and you show how good this album is in your representation of it. Great job. Would love to hear chasing yesterday or who built the moon done
This is unreal my friend, i can only hope you keep going with at least first album by beady eye, LG and NGHB which all have some classics. Congretulations again, greetings from italy
Ciao my friend ! I might do a compilation of the best of the above, as there’s some great b sides too. Basically the next oasis that ‘should’ have been
These covers have been a sanctuary for the past ten years mate. I hope you move on to doing BE, NG and LG. No matter how long. Don’t care if it’s another decade. Long as I’m alive and well, I’ll be listening.
I think I decided to switch it for millionaire. Sadly I find the last few song on DOYS from gem and Andy a bit laborious, and as I was unlikely to do the beady eye album, yet love millionaire I thought I’d swap it out. Controversial choice I know, but that was my thinking
Gold & silver & sunshine to everyone. Thanks Mr. Moore. Here the setlist

"Tell the world that you love them with a melody" That's all. Long live the power of music
True dat Andy.
Excellent arrangements of a much overlooked album. This album takes you back to Definitely Maybe, bypassesing pop Oasis and linking back to early days to close the loop on the amazing arc of an amazing band.
Very true. A super bluesy album, and probably they’re best produced one. Shame about the last 5 tracks
@@michaelgmooremusic Except Soldier On I love that tune
Bloody amazing!!! Well worth the wait. High flying birds next?
I guess it’s the inevitable step. Got a few left over songs I need to cover. Not quite done with oasis just yet
@@michaelgmooremusic Awesome! Keep up the great work.

Oh my God, I've been listening to this album non stop the last month and then you post this, weird world.

Was sceptical at first but you had me hooked by just the first minute of Bag It Up! Really incredible job

Cheers Greg, that’s so great I’ve been able to soundtrack that work. I’m honoured

Thank you. Its been a great project to do and finish
Whatttt!!!! To be where there’s life is a top top tune. Thanks for all the effort, these are all class mate!

Ah that’s so kind mate, thank you for listening.
Funnily enough that’s kinda how I would describe myself…..noel Gallagher played by thom yorke
Well said Jordan.
My son turned me onto you. Incredible talent… you that is…. Keep up the great work… cheers from 🇺🇸
Thank you so much. To you and your son. Clever lad
Totaly amazing,
Congrats, absolutely awesome

Thanks for that mate. Millionaire is a brilliant song. If you’ve written a song like it you’ve got real talent. Can I hear your tunes anywhere?
@@michaelgmooremusic On my channel, if you want to hear them. They aren’t as good as a Gallagher tune though...

Thanks Richard. I’m thinking of doing a best of ‘long album’ of best tracks form all Noel, Liam and beady eye tracks
Dig Out Your Soul...Done. Brilliant.
So...are you two splitting up now?
😂😂😂 funny as mate. Yeah “I simply cannot work with me a minute longer.”
@@michaelgmooremusic 😂👌
I'm speechless. You are a great talent
Thank you that so kind of you
Wow great great job 👏
Really worth the wait 😍
Thanks mate. Really making the most of lockdown time 😁
Amazing work
Amazing stuff, it was so refreshing to relisten to Oasis albums through your covers!
Well, that was quick indeed!
You’re welcome. No point making you wait any longer
I'm outta time is great.

Thanks so much. 😁
Now beady eye and liam and noel's solo career? 😉
Anyway thanks for this 9 years of cover 🙏🏻
Seems inevitable 😂
Best birthday gift ever
Happy birthday mate.
Master! Good job! Abraços
muito obrigado
Well done. I don't think Beady Eye was as bad as some thought either.
Thanks. It was great, but millionaire is a top tune
Why no “Nature Of Reality”
I think I decided to switch it for millionaire.
Sadly I find the last few song on DOYS from gem and Andy a bit laborious, and as I was unlikely to do the beady eye album, yet love millionaire I thought I’d swap it out. Controversial choice I know, but that was my thinking
Why don't you use any kind of e-pianos timbre like Rodhes?
Hi Marcus, i did for my version of Heathen Chemistry. Check it out and let me know what you think
@@michaelgmooremusic Mmmm... Great! I'll check right now. Thanks.
Falling Down could have been a little bit slower but rest is good.
Totally agree. I was pretty far into the one take by then so wasn’t gonna turn around. Sounded so much faster when i listened back
MASTER PIECE 🔥😍
It would be awesome to have performing in Sessions Live 🤩
