- In this video we tear down a Chevrolet 4l60e out of a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe this was a core we got last year and I wanted to make a realistic video on what these transmissions normally look like when we get our hands on them. Thank you to my girlfriend, wonderful and lovely mariana for helping me film this video. Thank you for 15,000 subs! #yt #automobile #ytshorts #57chevy #chevy3500 #mechanic #55chevy #dodgecummins #chevys #repair #fsptransmissions #transmission #rebuild #mechanic #specialist #chevrolet #chevy
Wow, I'm impressed. You have to have a very good memory and skill to do what you do. Bro you make it look easy. 👊🏾
Very interesting, I’ve always wanted to learn how to rebuild transmissions.
Thanks for showing how the park works! I've always been told to not rest the vehicles weight on the teeth with park but I've never seen it before.
Major respect
This will be me soon. 97 Tahoe 4wd 4l60e. 208k miles. Going into reverse causes stutter and a clunk. Drive it till it dies while saving up the 2k for the transmission guy.
Can we get a full rebuild video?
Do u have a 2003 4l80 video. My truck hits hard in 2nd. I have to let off the gas to keep it from hitting hard if i down shift it from 3rd to 2nd it hits but not near as hard.
Thanks for teaching me more about transmissions! I’d love to own a 7th Gen Monte Carlo SS one day and I get a sneaking feeling that I’ll need to get familiar with them 😅. Would you consider doing some FWD stuff or is that a whole different animal?
add a mic near your mouth or bring the music down a notch otherwise great stuff !
What happen when the input reverse drum or the input drum get stuck or what cause this problem? And how can be solve it
Good video.
I have a 2002 Tahoe. Original transmission with over 235k on it. It shudders when shifting at low speeds. Is it time for a rebuild or? I had the transmission oil replaced about 80k ago. I doubt the filter has ever been replaced.
How much would that cost the customer?
Why do Chrysler/Dodge/Ram automatics suck? I love Dodge but i won't buy one with a automatic. Their 728 torque-flite always seemed to be a good trans. I believe the newer ones are based on the 727 but they suck. What's up with that?
I have a 1999 Chevy suburban 1500 with 233K on it that needs a transmission rebuild, what are the updates that should happen during the rebuild?
Bro needs a new air impact that is more compact like a Onyx or Astro
You forgot a o ring in the input drum lol not trolling I promise
Pro tip. Lose the background music, completely. It so loud that it drowns out what you are saying. Why some tubers think that background music is needed is beyond me. Do you not actually watch these videos before posting them?
