  • In the finale of Traitors Talk, Emmy and Wilf are back - and are this time discussing the nail-biting finale with the king of the Faithfuls, Jazatha Christie himself, Jaz! In the episode, Jaz opened up about staying true to himself and making it to the end of the show by sticking to his clever game plan, why he wanted to win the whole pot for himself, and why he asked Claudia to make him a Traitor

    Jaz was the people's winner. I believe he was the 2nd person to figure out Paul (the first being Brian) and he was also the only person to figure out Harry. I think if Jaz maybe spoke about his theory of Harry before the final roundtable, he could've maybe won over the people and win the game. Also, I think he's got some 6th sense for traitors who were recruited. He voted for Andrew and Ross before they became traitors which I find very funny. In my opinion, I think Jaz was the best faithful in this season and also last season. He knew what he had to do and he was so close to winning. Can't wait for season 3!!!!!

      I don’t think Harry would’ve let Jaz get to the finals if Jaz didn’t play it cool. Jaz played the perfect game as a faithful (i.e. held his enemies close, aka Harry) but it was in Mollie’s hands. :(

    I think also, he was never the first person to seriously bring them up at the round table or really go for them at the round table, as if he was wrong that mean he would be a target, as happened quite often. And it kept him out of the limelight. He was unlucky that Mollie was so close to Harry. Like Claudia said she just couldn’t vote against her heart in that moment, even if her head wanted to.

    lol I find it funny how people are so "team Jazz" it doesn't even make sense, He started doubting Paul instantly before there was any evidence, sure there ended up being better evidence during the dungeon part, but realistically Anthony did a better job doubting Paul then Jazz did. And the only reason he started doubting Harry is because Paul deliberatly said something to him to make him. Jazz was extremely quiet and didn't make friends with anyone (they were all fond of him, but that was it) and thats why he ended up losing, and all the traitors knew he wasn't enough of a threat to kill. You can say what you want also, but Mollie was never going to vote out Harry, she never got told by anyone that Harry was suspicious, which Jazz 100% should have done earlier, and they were best friends, and she didn't want to vote Harry out (thinking he was definitely a faithful) and make him lose his share of the money, which makes complete sense to me. Don't get me wrong he definitely is a smart man, but he could have just as easily targeted someone else other than Paul to start with and then he would have been on the wrong track entirely. Anyway thats my rant, still enjoyed the way Jazz played and it's a very hard game to play as a Faithful. BTW I wanted Andrew to win

      @dteezle Před 3 měsíci +1

      Jaz was my favourite faithful across both series but I gotta say I agree with most of this. I get his game plan and he did have good theories for the right reasons but I don't think he was instrumental in getting a single traitor out. Which obviously helped him stay to the end as he wasn't a threat but like you said he didn't spend enough time convincing everyone else. If you don't do that then your theory will forever be a theory

    the only issue with Jaz's strategy is that he did not say anything about Harry until the final day finale. if he said something before the final that it would have meant more because he is putting murder and banishment on the line this close to the final like there are stakes to what he is saying. needing the power and ego of having one person to convince is a big mistake bro and not forgetting the power of faithfuls choosing to banish or end the game on their own terms whereas before they had to every day live with no power to not get murdered and have more round tables to fight for.

      If Jaz had said something before the final it would have given Harry the chance to prepare a counter argument or start planting seeds against Jaz so he could get banished, Jaz did well to confront him at the round table in the final as it really shocked Harry and he definitely struggled to act like a faithful, all in all Jaz was such a perfect player, I feel the only thing he should have done was tell Evie about his Harry suspicions instead of Mollie but even that was understandable because Evie was under suspicion as well whether she was traitor or faithful

    What made Jaz a great player was his ability to suspect everybody and not rule anyone out, plus his selective sharing of information. The way he shared that bit about Paul to only Jasmine, Ross, and Harry to see who leaks it back is exactly how they suss out the mole in all the mob movies. (But now future traitors can adapt to this strategy.)
    Then when he shares this evidence with Zack and Evie, they just laugh him off, without even considering it. Forgetting that this is a game of traitors. Anyone at any point can be a traitor, whether from the beginning or through recruitment.
    If Harry was so good at finding traitors and was faithful, why hadn’t he been murdered yet? It’s either because he’s a traitor (since the beginning or through recruitment) or he’s faithful and one of the traitors is keeping him on because he trusts them. But which scenario is more likely?
    And according to Harry, they did try to murder him when he had the shield, even though the traitors would know which team had the shield and therefore would go for someone on the other team. But then they could just murder him on the next go around. Again, why keep him after that?

      It does but remember at that point, Mollie believed there were no traitors left, she believed all three of them were faithfuls so when Jaz chose to banish again, Mollie probably thought Jaz was mistakenly thinking Harry was a traitor essentially forcing Mollie to banish again. So out of the two, she's closer to Harry and chose to banish Jaz.
