  • US Wellness Farms raise 100% grass-fed beef, lamb, bison, and elk. Our animals are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished from the time they are weaned. Fifth generation cattle farmer, John Wood, discusses the various grasses that feed our animals and help build healthy soils. In this pasture, John describes the 3 prominent species that was planted in the fall: Sunn Hemp, Tifleaf Millet, and Kale. The winter seeding will consist of: Triticale, Oats, Rye Grass, Hairy Vetch, and 3 varieties of clover. These grasses make a healthy and delicious salad bar for the grazing cattle.
Decades of managed grazing has helped prepare this landscape for an extended stretch of very dry weather. Our farm has been regenerating the soil for the past twenty-five years and it's paying dividends this growing season.
US Wellness Meats was founded in 2000 in Monticello, Missouri (pop. 98) by visionary farmers, who saw that big-business cattle-raising practices were taking a toll on our animals and our health. By returning to rotational grazing practices that are good for the planet and good for our cattle, we led the way in introducing a new generation to the unmatched taste, tenderness, and healthiness of 100% grass-fed beef.
Our animals don’t need antibiotics, mRNA vaccines, or growth hormones to grow big and healthy. Our land doesn’t need pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers, or artificial irrigation systems to develop rich, fertile bio-diversity.

I get my meat from USwellness. I can tell the difference if I eat regular meat from groceries even if they claim its 100% grass fed
