      Yeah but great to have more detail. I think it'll race by on the day so really going to take a little time out moment for me and the new hubby to take it all in.

      Tanith Davies Honestly having those little moments in the day makes it so special. Otherwise it just goes by in a flash 🌟

      This was great, thanks, been searching for "sample maid of honor speeches for friend" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Senyatt Acclaimed Smasher - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a good exclusive guide for learning how to do an amazing maid of honor speech minus the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my mate got cool results with it.

    This was so interesting, I’m having a civil ceremony in 2022 and I’ve so far been given no info as to what’s going to happen and I didn’t wanna ask so early in and look like a “bridezilla” but my anxiety has been going haywire so this really helped me feel more in control having some idea of what’s to happen. Thank you ☺️

    Really useful as there's no rehearsal for a civil ceremony so great to have a better idea of the order. Really important to be ready early too to meet the register.

    Very informative video thank you. Like so many in this comment section the registrar booking had no real information only saying choose 5 songs and prepare readings for ceremony which will be checked approx 2 weeks prior.

    I'm an independent celebrant and I liked your video, but I'd like you to add that there is a choice of having a wedding ceremony at the place of your choice and a time of your choice... after the registry office formalities. This gives the couple a chance to have a ceremony that really reflects them and their choices. ... This type of civil ceremony is growing in popularity in UK as people want a ceremony that is bespoke to them.

      Thanks for your feedback Melanie, always great to hear from other in the industry. Great point, although this video is covering a general timeline for a civil ceremony. But absolutely agree that this is an option. xx

    Thanks for making such informative vids! Have found them so useful with planning my 2022 wedding. From your experience, does it work better to have couples standing or sitting during the readings, or at any other point in the ceremony? Thanks!

      If it’s a civil or celebrant led wedding then because they really aren’t that long, standing is usually fine. But it’s totally up to you. Xx

  • @meganmacaulay4641
    @meganmacaulay4641 Před 3 lety +4

    Is this the same for marriages held at a venue not in a registry office? my venue is small and will be very hard for myself (bride) to meet with registra 15 minutes before hand without being seen in my dress by guests/groom

    • @BluebirdBrideAcademy
      @BluebirdBrideAcademy  Před 3 lety +2

      Yes this is the same. They will usually meet you in another room and your venue should have space for this as it is required xx

    • @BluebirdBrideAcademy
      @BluebirdBrideAcademy  Před 4 lety +1

      If it is a civil ceremony, you may choose a non religious poem and short story thats means something to you to be read out. They are not obligatory but make your ceremony more personal x
