@@Orlanzepol123i believe so. Because nail bitting is a sign if stress too...my daughter use to bute her nails at a very young age and I had a stressful pregnancy. My granddad had the same habit and passed it doe to his daughter and my younger cousin.
Female been diagnosed at 17 been pulling out my hair since 11. I also skin pick relentlessly. I am on medication, but it's a trauma/stress response and it's an ocd, but I believe that God can heal any ailment in Jesus name. God bless y'all who struggles with sucky disorder

I've had trichloticlomania since I was about 9:00 years old and it's really helpful to see another beautiful person that suffers from this compulsive disorder. I remember I would be so ashamed to go to salons because they would always say oh I notice you have some balding here and I didn't even want to say what it was called because just the name was so embarrassing and the fact that I pulled my hair out was so embarrassing and it's gotten better over time and with certain medications but I'm really happy to see this and her hair looks amazing

@@J_Honor_ same to you friend! If it’s any help I’d say wigs have helped me a little. The wig covers the area I pick at and for some reason that’s enough for me to not touch it or think about touching it

I recently chopped off like 9 inches of hair and it sucks because my hair is beautiful to me, but those areas that are basically bald had me deciding to just cut it. I used to do that to the back of my hair. It’s a nerve problem. All of a sudden I didn’t do anymore. I can’t say when I stopped. By the grace of God I just stopped. I had been doing in since high school.❤
This hair is almost as thick as my hair. HOWEVER, mine won’t grow long. Recently, I found a protective style that I really like because it’s very comfy and simple.
I said “Oooh…” same time she did 😂. This looks sooo good!
That was my favorite part...I stopped looking at the hair at that point and couldn't look away from her stunning facial features 🤩
