  • Texas Wine Country refers to the various regions in the state of Texas that are known for their vineyards and wineries. Texas has a growing wine industry, with several areas producing a wide range of wines.
The Texas Hill Country is the largest and most well-known wine region in the state. It is located west of Austin and San Antonio and is characterized by its rolling hills, limestone soil, and warm climate. The region is particularly known for producing red wines such as Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Fredericksburg, Texas is a charming town located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country and is often considered the hub of Texas Wine Country.
Texas Wine Country is still developing compared to more established wine regions in the United States. However, the unique climate, diverse grape varieties, and the passion of Texas winemakers contribute to an exciting and evolving wine scene.

My wife really liked LBJ Farm, I thought it was ok.
We both loved Garrison Brothers Distillery. They had some fantastic appetizers, live music, yard games, and, of course, whisky tasting.

    👋Hey guys,
Very good to see guys, as I had no idea whatsoever, regarding vineyards & wineries within Texas.
I'm well travelled & I'd like to think well read, but I didn't know this.
This is why it's really helpful, to watch as many travel videos as possible. We learn so much regarding varying global regions & the best bit....we get to see the scenery & the specific regions culture, up close & personal.
Thanks for sharing & here's wishing you guys happy & safe travels.

I should also add, I have never visited the US, but my husband has visited 5 times & 2 of those times were with our 2 daughters, so he's a well seasoned US traveller!😄
Whilst travelling alone, he spent most of his time travelling along the Upper East Coast & along the West Coast & with our daughters, they travelled together along other US regions, specifically Northern Central & NW US.

FYI - am new to the channel. There are a lot of distilleries in Texas these days. The Texas Whisky Trail is now up and running with many participating distilleries. I saw your Scotland vids and thought maybe American spirts could be fun to watch.

I’m a native Texan and a BBQ enthusiast. That brisket looks horrible!!! But I’m gonna have to try those ribs while we’re there.

I grew up there and would love to go back and live there. But because all of the yuppies and insane amount of tourists, there’s no way to afford a house 😕
