I agree with the other commenters that Deciem's website is a bit daunting and intimidating. Like all your videos, Renee, this was so helpful. I have loved many of these products for years and rather than relying on pretty packaging and perfumy ingredients, these products are based on science and performance. For me, HV shines in one particular circumstance that makes buying it so worth it. Air travel. It is seriously amazing at creating a seal that prevents moisturizer loss from the pressurized environment. It does have a dry feel to it, which I don’t enjoy usually. But that dry feeling doesn’t matter as much after you’ve done an intensive pre-flight hydration routine. Just as long as you stick to mineral sunscreen over top as I doubt chemical sunscreens will be very effective through HV. FYI, I’m a Flight Attendant and using this particular combination has alleviated nearly all of my chronic dehydration and reactivity.

    My dear, Renee, somehow, you always know which video we're craving from you! I LOVED this in-depth review. NIOD is amazing, but I still felt a little intimidated with their lux formulas. This was uber helpful. Big hugs!

    I love all the products that you reviewed on this video! Could you suggest a routine as far as what products to use what days as part of my nighttime routine. I’m 52 years old with rosacea on my cheeks but have very non-reactive skin usually. Just looking for lots of hydration better skin texture no fine lines and no rosacea ha ha

    You are so knowledgeable! I love your explanations! After watching this video, I realized I would love to see a video of skincare recommendations for each age group (Teens, 20's, 30's, etc). It's hard for me to know when I should start intensely using anti-aging, retinal, acids, etc.

    Thank you so much for the review! This is so helpful. I noticed that you did not mention NIOD's Survival 30 sunscreen product. Have you tried it and what is your opinion?

    Wow I had only heard about the NIID Photofluids before this. I have so many things I want to try now. Thanks so much for all of your insight. I wish the promotion you listed in the info box wasn’t just on Instagram since I recently deleted my account - but would love to hear what the outcomes are of the 10 different consultations. I might find a good routine to try out based on what people’s skin types are!

    You described the Sanskrit saponins perfectly. It is powerful! The texture is very unique and difficult to wash off with hard well water.

    Niod!!! Love them! I like the new packaging for the FM. I have dry skin and really loved what this did for my pores. It is strong and you feel it. FECC is my holy grail. Combining it with the WishTrend eye butter is nice. I need to pull my survival 0 back out and use it. It has been in my fridge. I hadn’t thought to combine it with my sunscreen. Thanks for another informative video, Renee!

    • @gothamista
      @gothamista  Před 4 lety +1

      yes! FECC and the wishtrend eye butter is a glorious combo for me too!
      BTW, the FM and couple of other formulas have 2 packaging sizes - larger one in tubes and smaller in the jar!
