Flywheel 3921263
Pilot bearing measure your flywheel and input shaft size
Clutch get a self adjusting for your spline count and application and sae 2
Clutch housing 4305199
Clutch slave, search on eBay for Eaton hydraulic slave and get one with a fork that obviously will bolt to the housing.
Be sure your transmission does not have a cooler or you will have to modify your mount and use a OEM type slave like I did and get clutch fittings to work.
Drive shaft parts be sure yours has a 1710 series output or you will have to buy one for your trans like I did.
Np205 1410 output 3-4-10951-11 spicer
Np205 dodge front output flange Northern drive train 00105
Northern drive train 4-2-669 1550 np205 input flange
Northern drive train 4-82-191 1550 adapter
Northern drive train 6-3-2631kx slip yoke
You will need 1 1550 ujoint a ford np205 or any other drivers side drop tcase but the part numbers listed are for a ford 205 and one 1710 ujoint.
Call Tom woods drive shafts and get the driveshafts you need base off your length. I used 1480 for the rear instead of 1410 because my yoke was needing replaced anyway. For the front I modified my stock
Verify all parts will work for your application spline count etc I am not responsible for you ordering parts and being wrong. This is merely to save alot of time for anyone trying to do this swap. Big thanks to jagers garage for alot of the part numbers for when I did mine in 2021.
That’s a sick build, all this “film experts” couldn’t even shift out of 1st gear to save their lives. Great job man.
Not gonna lie half the shots were trash and me filming it in the wrong orientation but I wasnt going to trash the footage or rip it apart again to take better.
Thanks for having a messy shop like mine! I dont feel so bad. Takes balls to do this kind of work. Few people can or will do it. Be proud! Carry on!
Very cool. After 30 years of shiftin' gears I would have tried to install an Allison , but that's me. 😄
Sissy 😢 I drove commercial trucks 42 yrs and would still prefer a manuel. But..that just me 😊
Eww
A Manuel,huh?
Iv just discovered the coolest thing on CZcams today !!!! Thanks for this info big guy!! I'm for sure gonna do this swap one day!!😎
Dude awesome video on this and great info. I have been digging into this for awhile to swap my truck In the future. Figured I’d start early so when I get to that point it would go much faster and easier.
Any way gotta get a video of it going through the gears and on the road 😁😁
Heck yea brother!!! You need to make a video of it going down the road switching gears along with the jake brake!!!
I had a few clips at one time of it going down the road the Jake is a new feature this time though since I'm finishing it all up
Thank you for this video.

So the technical term for the bellhousing setup, the part on the engine is called the flywheel housing and the front of the transmission is the bellhousing. Something I learned when I did my setup. Have a 82 Chevy k30 crew cab that's Cummins swapped and 10 speed. Eaton rtx14710c.
That is badass
What belhouse and clutch housing did you use? WA sit a pain finding a clutch setup for it?
I'm repowering an old 1988 GMC 6000 water truck with a 24 valve 5.9L cummins. The truck already has the 10 speed. What parts would I need to bolt in the cummins? Thanks for doing the video -- it's helpful.
Awesome. I’ve been wanting to do this project for years. What model Eaton are you using? Overdrive? Would you be able to make a driving video shifting in the future?
My particular model is referred to as a metric Eaton. But the model is fro 16210c. And yes it has overdrive exact same ratio as a stock 5 speed actually. There is a page that takes a little digging to find but has every ratio for every Eaton built. I will eventually make a vid driving it when I get everything 100% complete. The trans is a little worn and has very minor quirks to get used to when driving it and in 1-2 months I will be using it for 20ish total hours making short trips hauling 10-12k lbs of dirt at a time.
On 12v 94 to 97 trucks buy a sgi100bt Dakota digital box. 4 wires an its alot easier to do it that way then thru the t case. It then gets its reading of the rear diff. Just some good info to have.
They do have a adapter that converts the tcase mechanical to electrical and is plug in play but if the truck has and uses the speed sensor in the rear diff then that's the easiest since it's not affected at all. The rear end from my truck is from a 12v and I had to put a different speed sensor in I'm not sure if all the 12vs have the sensor or not though
Great information, looking for clarification you have a adapter listed 3921296 and the flywheel housing 430519, arent they one of the same?
Good catch those are both engine adapter plates the difference is starter location. The 3921296 is the correct and the clutch housing is what I meant to put is eaton a3722
Commenting on the video for the algorithm
Do you have any suggestions for where to find the 3921296 flywheel housing?
I’m stoped at that point and can’t seem to find one
Thanks
Ramzi

They are all over online I just found whatever was cheapest at the time
@@TheHondaOutlaw wow
I have found zero 3921296
I think I found another part number 3931713 that might be the same thing.
There’s a few of them for sale online but they are expensive as 💩
Not sure where you are looking as I saw a few but same deal they are expensive. The alternative number maybe less expensive but I remember those housings were not cheap, any of them. I believe I paid almost 500$ for one of them. The clutch housing was a lot less expensive
Good swap .
Good job.
Hello. I want to do the same thing .
I have a 2005 dodge ram with the bad motor, ba transmission manual.
I old ready buy a 1995 12 valve cummins engine. That old I have for the swap. Still looking for the eaton transmission end the rest of the connection. Put the part number u provided the really is going to help me. I just no that year transmission to get???????
I am not a mechanic put I will try .
Thanks u for the parts number.
If u have eny abais Please let me know
when’s the 300s and 350 gonna come back, wanna see more
Never
Excellent video and I appreciate the time you took to share your research.
Can I hire you to do my 12v - Eaton Fuller 10 speed swap?
Unfortunately no I do not have access to equipment I need to consider doing this for other people. But expect to pay in the 1500-2500 range for labor not including 4-5k for everything else.
Use a stud on starter bolts
Exhaust Brake : Not Jacobs Brake...I very very very much doubt you have a Jacobs Brake...🤣
I'll call it a jake when I very well know it's not. You can call it exhaust. Both accomplish similar results.
Two very very different things
The exhaust brake I have on my 5.9 is made by Jacobs, so essentially it is a "Jake" brake (Kinda)
What clutch and flywheel did u emd up using ?
I ended up using a dual disc 2" input shaft from friction phoenix but it's not going to be the same for every transmission because of input shaft sizes
What is that 10 speed out of originally? Top kick truck?
Not entirely sure it had Volvo part numbers on a wiring loom, it was just a trans from a junk truck on marketplace I found.
Do you have part numbers for clutch? Thanks again
You will need to find one of your own based off your transmission input shaft size, pilot bearing, and power level. I bought mine off of phoenix friction online great clutch so far with 2k miles on the setup
Are you running factory exhaust or 4 inch?
4, I'm sure you could run a 5 but it would probably require a dent to squeeze between the trans and the frame
@@TheHondaOutlaw just wonder if the clearance is the same on a 3rd gen dodge my auto is starting to go out on me and thanks was wanting to do a 4 inch strait pipe on mine
Where did you find the adapter plater?
Various places online they are off shelf parts since the 5.9/8.3 cummins was used to have that style of transmission in some trucks
So What you are saying is this would be a lot more simple 2wheel drive
It would, although I'm not sure what kind of adapter would be needed to get from the semi trans yoke to a regular size one.
What frictions disk did you use?
It was a dual disc self adjusting clutch from Phoenix friction. Other than input shaft size Wich was 2" for a sae#2 Wich I can't remember what size in inches that is. And it was a self adjusting clutch. Pretty pricy but what over kill in quality much better than the valair dual disc I had before in the 5 speed
Im doing an eaton 6 speed and want to use the flywheel you are using, I thought that I needed a pot style flywheel for a dual disc! Thanks man.. Ill go through phoenix friction too!
The engine " adapter plate " is more correctly called a flywheel housing..
I’m working on a 5.9 Eaton 13 speed 78 ford build.
Looks like flywheel housing 3921296 is what I’m needing but haven’t found yet.
Is anyone has any suggestions on where to get one 🙏⚓️
any updates? would love to see it driving!
I drive it 5-6 days a week I just have not got around to ever making a video.
@@TheHondaOutlaw
how does it work out with the 12 valve powerband? I have a FRO 10 speed on my shelf. was thinking about swapping it in if my g360 goes.
There isn't really ever a gear you don't have power in since unlike the original there is t large gaps between 3-4. This is an overdrive trans so there is still a small gap between 9-10 but I've pulled a single axle dump truck on a gooseneck at interstate speeds before
What would you charge to convert a 95 model 12 valve 2 wheel drive 5 speed to the 10 speed Eaton fuller?
It's not something I could do for other people yet but just know if you find someone willing it won't be cheap it took me around 50-60 hours to change everything over and get everything about perfect how I like.
@@TheHondaOutlawdo you think this would be possible in a dodge b350 van from 92 running on the 5.9 magnum v8 I need this in my life and in a year or two, I’ll put maybe 20-25k or whatever is necessary in someone’s hand to help me put this in and source the parts
I don't have a answer to that one I've never been around the dodge vans so I don't know if they even have the room for the Cummins as is
@@TheHondaOutlaw I figured since the trucks come with either the 360 or the Cummins and my van has the 360, the Cummins might fit. Length is the main concern to me but if it takes fabricating new flooring, I’ll make it happen eventually somehow. At least I hope.
Thank you, I was looking for a A3722 clutch housing, the one I found doesnt have the spot for hydraulic clutch?
That was what I had wrote down that I bought. Easily could have been mis labeled. I found a full part number that definitely is the right thing aswell it is 4305199
You haven’t posted in a minute. You good man?
Someone said on another video that the guy who made this is a goner. They said he crashed the truck and the transmission came thru the floor of the truck and took him out! Is this true?
No idea who came up with that nonsense but that truck is mine and I drive everyday still
Any update on the jake brake build?
I couldn't the home made exhaust get it to seal any better than 30psi. I ended up just buying a pack brake Wich works great.
Exhaust brake*
Where’s the Honda 300
When are you going to make another update?
What else is there left? All I could do is show it driving.
@@TheHondaOutlaw exactly what I was hoping for😂
@@kevinguffey6854 I missed the opportunity hauling dirt but it would have been decent around 14-15 k lbs everytime
@@TheHondaOutlaw it would’ve sounds really good with the Bellar with a 10 speed I really hope I get the opportunity to put one in mine
@@kevinguffey6854 it is a ton of work and if you cut the floor a ton more work to make a access panel with average tools and make it quiet again. The absolute dumbest thing you could do in my opinion is weld the panel on solid. Yes it would be quietest but I would have had to cut a hole to change the reverse sensor and a gasket on the shifter.
What’s up with that talon
On going future project
I think you did this video to hear yourself talk
Great subject. Too bad the camera work stinks and you didn't take time to think through what you wanted to present.
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road. We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
I do not think you have anything that would be of use for me currently. All my vehicles are to old.
@@TheHondaOutlaw 🤣Would the age affect the fittment
@@Auxbeam do you make anything that will do a 1963 Ford galaxie on truck axles any good?. And I'm not talking about light bars or pods but the actual 5 3/4" round head lights
@@TheHondaOutlaw Shit you got me sir. That's something we don't have💀I initally thought we could work on your truck or ATV
@@TheHondaOutlaw I thought you are SXS focus..🤣
your cameramanship totally sucks
"cameramanship" ??? Ha Ha, that's the first I've heard that term
