Halo: Combat Evolved was released in 2001 by Bungie and propelled the original Xbox on the mainstream map. With the release of the Master Chief Collection on PC, the Halo speedrunning community has exploded into a dedicated group of gamers pushing to their absolute limits. The Halo CE randomizer by Burnt was originally released with only enemy and friendly AI randomization but has now been updated to include textures and audio. The whole randomizer on legendary difficulty without any major skips took roughly five and a half hours to complete no thanks in part to chat randomizing the textures and sounds every 20 minutes. As if rocket flood everywhere wasn’t hard enough…
